Wealthy Affiliate Is For Beginners Or The Experienced- Follow closely
If you have just started here at Wealthy Affiliate and you are following the training, I don't have to tell you that it's for real! You are likely already finding that out even in the early stages!
This program is set up for success!
I am writing this post as a response to a PM that I received earlier. And I have had the same PM multiple times!
I in no way mind! You are welcome to PM me with any question you can think of and if I don't know, we will learn together. But there may be those who don't ask and get discouraged because they are overwhelmed when they first get to Wealthy Affiliate.
I was....don't think you are by yourself! But I quickly learned a big lesson!
The exact recipe is here within the training and the Wealthy Affiliate experience to succeed ! That is no joke or sales pitch!
If you are already a member here at Wealthy Affiliate I have absolutely nothing to gain by lying to you, and wouldn't any way! My goal is to reaffirm that you have found what you were looking for !
On one of my websites, I have done quite a few reviews on various products and services that can be found online that show and teach you the ropes of making money online and how to build a business with it. With the exception of a small amount of basic value in a few, most of these products and services are either scams or low quality wastes of time !
That isn't what you will find here at W. A! That being said, there is one aspect that you have to completely understand!
Follow The Training!
I am telling you this as the crash test dummy for being hard-headed and thinking I know a better way! The funny thing is that every time I have done it my way, I had to back track through the training seeing what I did wrong, and in essence doing the training the way it was meant to be done, but taking much longer and having to fix multiple things!
After I have blogged about several issues I have had that were self-inflicted, I have discovered yet another one ! Image resizing and page load speed!
But unlike the past mistakes, I'm not getting crazy about it! I am implementing some changes in the new posts and taking one of my other 80 posts and optimizing it, every other day!
The first time I had a big issue I tried to fix it all at once and spent a ton of time, making it worse! Then I went back to the training and found some steps I missed !
The most important first step for new members!
The most important page on Wealthy Affiliate is the getting started page !
Once there you have opened a new world, and it is exciting! Just don't get sidetracked ! Start at getting started and stay on track.
If you want to be a crash test dummy like I was, that's your prerogative ! But I wouldn't if I were you. This is easy to learn and implement if you follow along.

"Follow the training step by step" is the key way to success.
Like you said, wandering off on a "rabbit trail" is costly in time and energy.

I have had to go backwards in the training a few times as well, but that's one of the great things about this program, there's no time limit.
