I think that success is the ability to weigh the inner and outer voices to get the most you can out of life. You can believe you are a tomato, but when someone tells you that you aren't without weighing the knowledge of the person that disagreed with you... There is a wisdom in recognizing that there are those out there that are smarter than yourself on certain topics. I'm not going to take the word of my plumber on a household wiring issue as law so to speak. My Opinion granted...
In my family ... I am the one called: dreamer, nut case ... and always chided with: why don't you get a "real job", yeah- you're talented -but how you going to make money, and what crazy scheme are you into now. Okay, I admit, I've made a few mistakes ... but I've had a lifetime of learning new things, going new places, meeting new faces and I'm never bored or depressed ... unless I make the BIG mistake of getting a "real" 9 to 5 job! I continue to rise above .... and soon ... I'll be coming out on top! Thanks for the inspiration!
