Small Tip to Drastically Improve Your YouTube Videos
In this video I will share a small and easy tip to drastically improve your YouTube video.
It is something I did not pay proper attention to until I had published a few hundred YouTube videos, and once I realized it, it drastically improved the quality of my videos.
All you have to do is to pay a little extra attention when editing your videos, and then your videos will become a lot more engaging.
I explain all about it in this short video. If you have experienced anything like that or are planning to implement it yourself, please feel free to share in the comments below.

Any basic editor can do something like that. You just need to cut out the parts with breaks or with errors. Once you find the editor or screen recorder you want to use, they usually have small tutorials that show exactly how to do it.
Hey Mikael, what I have also been doing for a very long time and I recommend it for any vlog creator is... Whenever you make a conscious mistake, pause for a second or a few seconds (whatever time you need) to recollect your thoughts and then say it again but correctly this time. Then once you edit the video, you cut out the mistakes only, and your corrected words or phrases will be there ready for use.
Even if you make many mistakes, you can just apply the same principle and in the end, your video will be nearly perfect. Some of my channels are faceless so there is no need to correct mistakes, but I have a few channels where one of my team members, my fiancee, or I show our faces and speak ourselves where it has been applied for flawless videos.
Ah, I was looking for this, Michael. Do you recommend a free tool to cut/edit those pauses/noise?
John
For basic videos and editing I think Screenpal is really great. But it is not free but costs something like $3 per month.
But there are many tools that can do this.
Thanks a lot, Michael. It seems even Microsoft PowerPoint can do it. I'll try other options.

Hello Mikael,
It's interesting how that extra attention to detail when editing, Mikael, has made all the difference. I do understand where you're coming from. I'm guessing when we have a normal conversation with people we stutter, think about what we are saying, take breaks for a second, etc.
Something I have noticed in videos like YouTube short's is how people are doing the opposite. So any tiny short gap is filled in, to me this is too much, as it doesn't give you time to take in what the person has said. So I guess there is a balance between the two.
Have a great day.

True - definitely about finding the right balance and this can also vary a lot depending on the niche/audience.
Yes, I hear you, Mikael! Maybe the younger generation can take things in quicker, but I find these quick abnormal short videos, just doesn't give time for the brain to absorb the content. I appreciate that they are trying to keep the videos short, but that defeats the object.
All the best to you and thank you for your weekly tips, Mikael.

I agree. How I am trying to use Short form video is to just give very quick overviews and tips and then people who are serious can dive deeper into the full videos or written content I have.
I hear you, Mikael! That makes a lot of sense to introduce viewers to short videos, so that they can go on to something deeper.
Have a great weekend.
