450K Subs on YouTube - 3 Tips to Succeed!
I have just reached 450K subscribers on my YouTube channel. This is something I never imagined when I first started.
However, I do believe anyone can succeed on YouTube, and it is one of the best traffic sources for affiliate marketing, in my opinion.
In this short video, I will give you 3 tips to succeed on YouTube.
And please feel free to share your opinions, experiences, or questions in the comments below.

Congratulations on reaching 450K subscribers, Mikael, that really is an impressive achievement! Incidentally, at the time of writing, you are now up to 451K subscribers!
Thank you for the excellent advice, it's appreciated. I hear you regarding perfection, the fact is we can never reach perfection, we need to just get started. Perfection can sometimes be an excuse for doing nothing!
Have a great day and well done for doing so well on YouTube, I'm sure it will encourage many, including myself.

Hello there Mikael, Good day.
Great job and congrats.
Thanks for the tips. Are there any tools that you use to optimize your youtube videos?
Thank you.
Thanks Pastor.
Not sure what you mean by optimize? I record my videos and the send the raw files to my editor who does the editing. And then another VA writes the descriptions and uploads the videos.
I optimize them with KWs in title and description. Most of my videos have a KW but with a bigger channel not all videos need a KW.
Really great advice and congratulations on the 450,000. I would like to know if and how you used other social media sites for picking up viewers.
I have just started a new site for "The lazy Athlete" and already one video has hit over 6,000 views. But I want to increase my viewers so I can start earning money. Lol.
Steve
Thanks Stephen.
For the first many years I did not use any other socials to get views. But I got quite a lot of views from my website. And I also regularly send out emails to my list to make aware of new videos to give them some traction.
My husband posted a video of me running the table in pool years ago at pool league but I don't know how he did it. It is still out there.
There is quite a lot of training in here inside Wealthy Affiliate that will teach you exactly how to upload videos etc, so you can get started if you want to.
As a creator on Youtube you can upload videos for free. These days I just use my phone to record my videos, then edit and upload.

I plan and record the videos myself and then I pay someone to edit it. But when I first started, I did everything myself. At first, I suggest you just keep it simple.
I have a Mac so I use the free software that comes with it, iMovie, for editing. When you are in your account on the upper right side is +Create, click on that and you can select your video for upload.
I'd show you how with a video, but only a select few can upload videos here these days. 😒
I record with Camtasia but if you are a beginner and want to record your screen and maybe also your face, I recommend using ScreenPal. It is also super easy to use and also easy to do basic editing with it. I have more info about these options in my other small YouTube videos. You can find them in my blog section here inside WA.

Hello Mikael, congratulations of your 450K subscribers - quite a feat.
I was one of thos people who kept putting off making video because it was so new to me. I had every excuse under the sun but in the end I realised I just had 'to do it'.
Learning the software was, as always, a challenge but it was such a good feeling when I made my first video and uploaded to YouTube.
I've done four now (obviously I'm still very slow) but I'm on a roll.
Thanks for this.
Jackie
Great job getting started Jackie. Then, it is just a matter of keeping going.
