A couple of days of Gremlins
This is my 50th post and I wish it could be something better than having a bitch about my MMO websites behaviour.
Turning my computer on yesterday, the site would not load. Nothing wrong the day before, why now? Just questions I ask myself.
Change browsers, nada, Try the microsoft browser, nada.
Check one of my other websites... No problems
Check another, nothing wrong there either.
Why is it this one site gets a bug? !
Good Morning Site Support, I have a https:// 500error for you.
A look in WA chat and it seems I was not the only one with website issues.
A bit of browsing on the dashboard and commented on a couple of posts. Eventually I get my site back.
Recommendations included clearing my DNS cache, and browsing history. I clear my browsing history every couple of weeks anyway, as well as flush my SEO Analysis data.
I clear my DNS cache. Then get back to finishing tidying up some older posts, which I had started on Tuesday. Finish, and submit to Google.
Google wants me to verify ownership, this usually happens after I clear my browsing history. Not verified ? hmm. here we go (again), normally this is quite painless.
Not today, It didn't matter where I put the code, it would not verify my ownership. Try the meta code, accepted. Submit posts.
Go over to Google analytics and a pop up advises me it has not recieved any hits from my site since 1st of Sept. ???
Just what I need to see.
I have about 30 - 40 mins to get this sorted, because we are going out to visit friends at their new abode.
Finally get Google Analytics and Google Search Console reconnected, and I add one other property. to Google Anylytics and connect it to Google Search as well.
Quick shower and shave, dressed and out for a relaxing evening.
Thursday I get going on another post, things seem ok, a little slow still.
I do a preview of to see how a new post is coming along. and I see "not secure..." in the search bar.
Hello... site support, please reinstate my SSL please.
They write back which page.? Like yesterday my site loaded ok from their end. So, screen shots and write back all of them.
I decided to keep working on my new post, and then then the strangest thing.
Just as I opened the post I was working on, a pop up appears and tells me "My site has timed out please re-enter your password" which I did, and of course it wasn't accepted.
This is a the good thing about Wealthy Affiliate, I have somewhere to go with my problems. They might not be rectified first time every time, but we can keep working through the issues.
I have seen in the WA blogs that others here have seen visits to their site have dropped right off.
I suggest you check your Google Analytics and your Google Search Console connection. It needs this for every thing to sync.

You know from my posts that I empathise through experience!!;
It is not the working through so much for me only the time and effort expended when we could be doing more productive work we have enough on our plates without having these issues on top.

It wasn't my bed actually Rami. But after the drama settled down it was my bed !.
Apparently they are common along this part of the Caribbean Coast. There are about 5 different types of scorpion in Colombia. (that they know about).
It all ended well.
