Keyword, Niche and Market Research

I am becoming very frustrated by a lack of ranking on Google. I have produced around 50 blogs over the past four or five months, and approximately 80% have allegedly been index

Sharing blog posts on social media platforms can help a little but if you don't mind me asking in which niche are you trying to get ranking?

I am in the niche of back pain. I never offer specific medical advice but recommend products that I have used.

Great off-hand experience. How long are your blog posts? The recommendation is to be around 1200 words long, at least. What SEO plugin are you using?

My posts are normally in 4 sections and average 1100 - 1400 words. I use The SEO Framework

And how long ago those blog posts were posted a couple of months at least? And are you using Jaaxy keyword tracking feature?

Hi - following Google's recent algorithm updates, the key focus should be on providing helpful content demonstrated by personal experience with the subject.

For example, if it was a travel site, has the writer personally visited the location?

For products, have they described how they used the product or provided unique images or videos of themselves using the product?

One way to evaluate first-hand experience is to ask yourself, “Could this post have been created by anyone researching the internet, or have I used unique, first-person experience to write the content?“

If you are using entirely AI-generated content, then you need to edit it to add your own unique voice, your personality, and your experience.

One thing with AI content is that it typically doesn't write in the first pronoun - it doesn't always include words such as “I,” “we,” “my,” and “ours.”

So, you are not demonstrating personal experience.

You also need to conduct thorough keyword research, to ensure that you are not covering topics that are dominated by the big, well-established websites that you have little chance of beating.

And, it goes without saying that you should not write about medical subjects unless you have relevant qualifications or finance topics unless you have career experience.

However, at the end of the day, it is unwise to rely entirely on traffic from Google and you should be spending an equivalent amount of time on social media.

I never post AI content without "humanizing" it first and having suffered from back pain for over 50 years, all of the content can be traced back to my experiences. I only ever write about keywords that have less than 20 QSR. But I do take on board your social media comment.
Thanks
Michael

Are you creating supporting YouTube videos for your posts & embedding them into your content? That's typically one of the fastest ways to gain traction. You don't have to show your face on camera, there are many ways you can create engaging videos without showing your face (I'm sure you've probably seen many like this on YouTube).

Good idea Dale.
Thanks
Michael

Your choice of keywords and compelling content is what would rank you in the search engines.

Are they internally linked? This may help Abie

Thanks...I'll take a look but internal links are in place.
Cheers,
Michael

You are more than welcome, Michael :)

I have received the following message from Google:
Search Console
New reason preventing your pages from being indexed

Search Console has identified that some pages

You can try here

https://www.onely.com/blog/how-to-fix-page-with-redirect/

Does it give you a n example of which pages are being redirected? This is likely a moot issue here, but if you have the specific pages that it is referring to you can drop them here and we would be more than happy to have a look. :)

Hi Kyle, unfortunately, it doesn't. It just states that "some" of my pages aren't indexed

In Google Search Console, you can locate the pages that have the issue. Go to the Pages tab and you will see a full list of indexed and non-indexed pages and it will provide the reason for non-indexing.

I hope this is helpful.

Stacie

Thanks Stacie...much appreciated

You are most welcome, glad to be of service. 🙂

I am currently setting up a Business Pinterest account. Part of the process tells me to claim my website, but when I follow the instructions, I receive the following message:

Hi Michael,

You are not the only one who has had trouble with Pinterest. I tried to set up a new account with them for my website as I already had an older account for a product I make.

I used two different emails and they had everything so mixed up I just about gave up. Luckily, I finally sent them a message and they helped a little bit and the rest I figured out on my own.

Those videos below should help you and if you still are having problems, you can contact Pinterest and their customer service is fairly responsive.

Good luck on your new site and I am happy you are here with us.

Mike

Thanks Mike, much appreciated. I'll contact them if I have any further problems. Cheers..

I like to go watch videos, so I search under the Classes tab, there is a ton of training there, Kyle, Jay, and Eric.
Or you can also use the magnify glass to search for Pinterest.

All sorted by using Erics video...thanks very much for your help

Oh Michael you have entered the world of connecting tech up to tech!
Don't worry we all have this trouble no matter how skilled you are. Are you just trying to set your Pinterest account up on Pinterest or connect it to your site?

All sorted now...thanks for your help

Check if you have made any changes to the right sidebar of your post, unlike other posts, or if it could be a theme design.

Has it always been the same?

Otherwise, you can check your Manual Excerpts, More tag excerpts, or reading settings, such as full text or summary display.

It's been as good as gold until today when I updated it. I've just gone back into my back office and on this post it says "Clear this cache" which I thought I had already done. I've clicked on that message but it keeps reappearing. Can you advise how to clear it please?

I would call upon support here; they can check what is wrong with your website.
