Work From Home In Style

When I first looked at Affiliate Marketing, I decided that that time was right to promote Office Furniture. At the time, millions of people worldwide had been forced into working from home due to the pandemic. Even the tiniest of bedrooms were being transformed into home offices, and people needed to work in comfort.

This was my first step into creating an online world for myself, and I started off like a steam train with total enthusiasm. However, I soon realised that this niche was not a passion for me, and I just let things drift. I rather stupidly ignored all the advice that was readily available to me in WA and went off to search for overnight success elsewhere. Guess what...it didn't work!!

And then just a short while ago I returned to WA, did as I was told, found a new niche that was my passion, and things are really moving ahead for me. But I never let my original site lapse. I thought that maybe I would return to it once I had learned a lot more from WA. Having said that, I never added any posts to the original site, and apart from renewing the annual fee for the domain, I left it to gather dust.

And then this morning I awoke to find an email from someone who had left a really nice comment on this two-year-old site, praising me for the content I had written. To say that I was amazed would be an understatement. But I also have to say that it was one of the nicest ways to greet a new day that I have had in a long time.

So, it just goes to show the power of the internet and of affiliate marketing. Never give up...someone, somewhere is reading your posts when you least expect it. If they read them, then the law of averages says that new business will follow eventually.
