Well, it’s the evening before Halloween and as we prepare for all the little costumed characters coming to our doors tomorrow, this thought came to mind…”don’t look now, we’re being followed!” Scaring others is certainly a part of this event, but my attention focused on the Wealthy Affiliate community…not that any of you are scary!

I have been a member of this support community for only a short time. I’m still learning the ropes and navigating through the training process. I began “following” other members to see how they were progressing with their websites and training. I’ve learned so much from each of them, even the newbies like myself.

My attention keeps going back to those who are FOLLOWING ME! What do they think that I have to offer them? What is it that catches their interest that they want to follow ME? After all, I’m just learning myself, so is there anything I can do for them at this point? I’m not far enough along in training to give them sound advice to most of their questions.

As I pondered these questions, I started thinking about “traffic”. It is emphasized in our training that one of our main goals is to drive traffic to our websites. If this is that important, I have an idea. I CAN do something for those who are following me that will have a positive impact and say thank you at the same time.

I set a goal to visit the websites of a few of my followers each day and leave a comment. Writing comments on their sites will help with their ranking, and it is always encouraging to have someone visit and leave a positive remark for other visitors to see. It helps improve business! By the way, I learned today that Labman (Craig) hit a milestone at WA with 7500 followers…congratulations Craig. Now there is a member to follow!

So I may not be a WA guru yet, but I can be a positive force and encouragement to those, who for some weird reason, want to follow me. We all have a part to play in this community. Someone will find out your strengths…and WATCH OUT, they may decide to FOLLOW YOU!
