A Milestone
Well I've done it. Published a book on Kindle.
Here again is a human erring in full bloom. That thinking, caused by a fear of the unknown, causing debilitation.
Oh! I haven't done that before, I don't know where to start. So I can't do it anyway.
I read a short post on FB by a known American copywriter. He wrote that he collected together some of his past writings and published an ebook with them. And to date collected about $107,000.
That gave me an idea. Which I've had for many years, but because of lack of experience, fell into the unknown debilitation rut.
So after some reading and research, I thought I can do this also. I'd went through posts I'd written and selected 12. Followed the Kindle publishing guide.
And this afternoon clicked the publish button.
With the blue highlighted chapters in the table of contents, I was very proud of myself.
But, found out after the chapters in blue, are just a blue colour. OOOOPS. I watched a Youtube video on how to do it correctly afterwards. Not enough research.
Maybe I can get into the book and edit the hyperlinks, when the dust had settled.

Aaaah, no problems Michael. Each post was its own chapter. Now I've started on a story for another ebook.
Nice one Michael. I have tried for years to write a book and it is no easy feat. Great accomplishment.
Thanks Harvey. I'll throw this well used advice to you "if I can do it, anyone can", so come on, get on board. My next publishing expose' is a short story about what another guy and I were writing to each other.
So, to get you started, start small. With a little story, advice on how to ...... , something you are familiar with. But get started. I'm putting the challenge to you.
Thank you very much, doing this gave me a thrill, and tickled my fancy. Also I got over a hurdle.

That's amazing Michael, I'm pleased for you. It's great to see members achieving their goals. Thanks for sharing your success :-)
Thanks Gaylene. Yes it was one of those daunting things. But no longer a boogy monster.
And I learnt the art of hyperlinking the next day. It was a breeze also. Now the content table has lovely blue chapter headings that go to a chapter, and at the end of the chapter, put in a "Return to Table of Contents" hyperlink also.
Now I've got the publisher bug. Onto another short story ebook.
Wonderful, all the best :-)
