Sorry, I Won't Apologize
I've noticed that some WA members feel the need to apologize a lot ... for not being so active last week ... for being sick ... for being away from live chat for two minutes ... for not saying thanks to everyone in their network ...
Are you one of them? Do you feel you have to apologize to your blog readers, when you haven't written a new post for a whole week?
Well, you don't have to apologize. You can't be at two places at the same time, and in every moment you do what you best can. Don't feel guilty if you don't live up to your expectations, you probably set them too high anyway.
Your readers don't really care about you, they don't care about your unpublished posts, they care about what you have for them. So give that to them, without apologizing. They don't want to know you're sorry.
Here's a great post about this. It's not mine but I found it while thinking about the same thing.
Sorry, But You Need To Stop Apologizing For Your Marketing
It's quite liberating when you think of it that way, isn't it? What do you think?

You're right, but 'sorry' is a very strong, powerful word. We should be careful about using it. Thank you for commenting.
Well said! I've been thinking this a lot recently, so thank you for coming out and just saying it as it is!
Thanks for this! It's been a few weeks since my last post on my site. Right about new year's I did one, and one more after that.....
I suppose I'll get back to it eventually, as I do with most things, and I'm grateful for this reminder not to beat myself up. Are my monthly views dropping? Yep - but mostly because I'm not sharing anything on HERE.
Surprisingly, my Organic Search numbers are WAY UP, while Social is the minimum contributor.
Anyway - while I'm disappointed in myself, I am not "sorry" that I've let my site 'health' get into the yellow. Oh well. I'm thinking I need to regroup, resume training where I left off, and rethink this whole project.
(I AM sorry, however, that a colleague who put faith in me has been disappointed by my lack of productivity.)
Hey, don't be disappointed. We all have ups and downs ... they're necessary for keeping the balance. Lack of productivity is just a phase. Don't force yourself, use this time for other things. Thank you for your personal, honest reply. I really appreciate it.
Great post Michaal, I totally agree, thanks. On that note, I have not been chatting to you in a while in chat, no apologies lol
Thanks. Great post and great link! Yes, I agree too. And if everyone apologizes about everything, it's quite easy to feel pressure to do the same or appear impolite.
You are absolutely right. Thinking of it that way is liberating.

Great job at telling like it is! That is how our mind is at capacity all the time, worrying about the small stuff. Life Happens!
