Thank you Empower Network!!!
Judging from my title, you are probably thinking that I am going to bash Empower Network. I will not bash this company because it has been a blessing to me. I'm not here to promote Empower Network either. However, I want to explain why I am so thankful for Empower Network.
But let me start off with a little of how I came to this revelation.
Since last year, I had heavily and exhaustively searched for an opportunity that would allow me to be my own boss and to reach my financial goals. I had joined several Facebook groups looking to link up with folks who could show me the way .... to the "other side." I saw this one lady's post in one of those "internet marketing to newbies" groups. Her photo icon looked very professional . Her post, which was a snippet of her article , was interesting and very informative. So I followed her on some social media sites and began to Like, Know, and Trust her.
It had came to a time when I received an email, ( yes, I opted-in to be a subscriber), and I saw an opportunity to join this company for only $25. For that price, heck, I jumped right in. I felt like I had finally taken a great step in achieving my goals. $25 was nothing to cry over. I watched and tried to implement the 8 core steps in the fast tracking training. But I became discouraged to continue on because I was not able to go "all in" and my spirit didn't feel motivated enough to max out a credit card to do so.
So, long story short, I quit Empower Network. I didn't feel comfortable with asking others to purchase training that I didn't have access to. So with my doubts and desire to see what others had felt about Empower Network, I had Googled, "Empower Network scams." Then I had saw the website, "Ways to Avoid Scams" and read the review. From this review, I found Wealthy Affiliate.
So I want to thank Empower Network for leading me to Wealthy Affiliate. The 8 core steps in Empower Network where helpful as they had outlined the basics needed to be a successful internet marketer. But Wealthy Affiliate outlines, step-by-step (of which I appreciate), exactly what you need to do.
My mother always taught me to appreciate ALL that you experience and learn, for these things leads to success!!

Hi Micaela, I too was caught by a program that wanted me to buy in to gain more access. I too smelt a rat and ditched it for further searching. I then came across WA through the bum marketing technique and have been here every since.
Have no fear you have access to all the tools and training with the monthly subscription here.....there are no up sells. Good luck on your quest. See you around the platforms.

Great article Micae. I had also tried Empower Network and saw, very quickly, that it was take a lot a give very little. So I got out quick. And I too was lead here in the same way.

I never joined EN, but a friend of mine did and was trying to get me to join. It was while researching EN that I too, discovered this place. So, taking your point, thank you EN, for being so diabolically bad.
As for my friend, I hear less and less about EN, as he moves into whatever is the new shiny thing.

Micaela, I am so glad you found WA and it is truly wonderful to have you here as part of the community. I do agree that all experiences in our lives do contribute to who we are and what we accomplish and I believe this was a stepping stone in the process of you finding personal success within the online world.
I am glad you didn't follow what others were telling you was right (solely because they were to financially gain because of your decisions). To put things into perspective, you could be a member here at Wealthy Affiliate for 19 years for the price you would have spent going "all in", and this is the case for many of the other high ticket programs out there.
Now that you have found WA, you have everything you need to start, grow, and nurture and online business and you have an entire community rooting for you ever step of the way.
