Personal Update (My long distance relationship with WA)
Hello, everyone!
I know it's been quite a while, and this post is going to explain why and what I'll be doing moving forward.
Way back in April I signed up for Wealthy Affiliate, created my first website and learned everything I could relate to affiliate marketing. What you may not know is that I was in a desperate situation.
Due to a health condition, it's practically impossible for me to find an ordinary job, which of course meant that there was no money coming in. After spending a few months looking for an online job, I ran into scam after scam... but then I found Wealthy Affiliate.
Having some money to invest, I decided this was the best way to spend it. Knowing that there was nothing coming in to support my future, I spent day and night on my online business for five months, hoping to reach some form of profit before I ran out of money.
This month I'm forced to face the truth. WA is the best way to invest in the future, but I can no longer afford to indulge it.
I think I've found a solution through freelance blogging, but after applying for every freelance job possible (and being denied for all), I realize that it's going to take a while to get accepted. Unfortunately, this means I'm going to have to take a hiatus from this amazing platform.
If I could stay I would, but it's just not possible right now. Because of all this mental deliberation, I haven't been keeping up with the latest WA news and I regret to say I haven't been able to contribute too much of anything.
So, what't the plan moving forward?
Freelance blogging.
My new mission is to make a full-time income with freelance blogging, and when that becomes a reality, I promise you, I'll come back :)
This isn't a "It's just too hard" or "Too much work" situation. My family and I are very stubborn people, and when we get fixated on a goal it's difficult to get us to quit. Wealthy Affiliate is no exception.
This isn't something I'm willing to give up, but reality is something that needs to be accepted and faced. I've got two weeks left on my membership, so during that time, I'll try to comment and contribute wherever possible.
But before I end this post, these things need to be said:
I love you, WA family!
I'm going to miss you all!
I appreciated absolutely everything you've helped me learn, fix, and do!
Thank you, Grace (littlemama) for getting me into WA and saving me from a scam with one of your reviews!
Thank you, Kyle, and Dave for setting up this incredible platform!
This is my temporary goodbye, but just like the terminator:
Thanks for following my progress and helping me grow! You all mean a lot to me :)
Much love,
- Jessie

I am sorry to see you leave but I know you will be back soon. Best wishes for you future endeavors.

I totally understand, and if you have to leave, then go. The reality is while some of us love this training platform, the price is steep for some of us, I'm a full time college student with a non paid internship so I do not work, my premium membership comes from my savings from my lunch money.
Hopefully you'll be able to stay longer than me, lol. Thanks for the understanding, Ashley :)
