You Only Fail When You Stop Trying!
I am not sure who can see my blog, or what it should be used for, but I already have a "professional" blog. One that is all about my author activities, movie, toy and book reviews and kid science, snacks and crafts, but I would like to use this one to post about my experience as a newer website. I'd like to add tips as well.
After trying many different types of writing, venues, mediums and niches, I have finally settled on promoting fun, affordable, educational entertainment for kids that will involve adults in their lives. So, for my first post, I just want to say...
"TRY DIFFERENT THINGS." When you find something you enjoy, don't give up, even if it takes months. I believe: "YOU ONLY FAIL WHEN STOP TRYING!"

You are right, never give up! Love the quote, "You only fail when you stop trying" because it is absolutely true. Sometimes we have to change our direction, but that doesn't mean we stop working at it. :)
Anybody on Wealthy Affiliate can see your blog, and anybody who follows you will get an email telling them you posted a blog. It's like a subscription almost. And that is very true, Merissa! Never stop trying if it's something you love and want to continue doing.
