New To Wealthy Affiliate? Clueless On Affiliate Marketing?

Fuh, I've completed 1 article for my website today. The article is about how to make money with affiliate marketing. Then, I browse around the WA platform and found out every time I refresh the page, new member will appear on the new member section.

I believe more than a half of my network are new members, right?

You know, when I join Wealthy Affiliate, I have a rough idea on what is affiliate marketing. This is because I have made some money through local affiliate marketing. But, what WA provides me is really overwhelming.

First, I need to choose these 2 main training:

1. Online Entrepreneur Certification (OEC)
2. Affiliate Bootcamp

At the beginning, I go with OEC because I'm planning to do affiliate marketing with electronics product. But in the end, I can't leave the money making niche since I love to teach people how to make money online. (maybe it's a trait from my father since he's a school teacher).

So, I stop the OEC in the phase 1 and go through the affiliate bootcamp to sell WA.

Anyway, what I want to share is, what you should do first after join the WA.

The Very First Things To Do

Once you are entering the WA platform, you'll be overwhelm with 20 free lessons that you feel you need to complete within 7 days free trial, right?

But, trust me. YOU WON'T EVER COMPLETE those lessons in 7 days. This is because, the free lessons give so much value that you can apply as soon as you've learnt something from it.

The lessons comes with tasks and you need to do all the tasks for each lessons to continue to the next lessons. It's okay for a fast learner person and understand the affiliate marketing works.

But, what happen if you don't even know what's affiliate marketing? Even though you completed all the lessons, you might don't even know what's affiliate marketing.

So, my advice, do some research on what's affiliate marketing. Ask around or ask me what's affiliate marketing.

Then, after understand the affiliate marketing, you'll easily to understand the training.

The next thing you need to do is, choose which path you want to focus. If you want to do affiliate marketing for product others than money making product, go with OEC. But, if you don't have any idea what to do and you want to sell money making product, you can give a try on Affiliate Bootcamp courses.

In your first 2 weeks, spend time to learn as much as possible through the main training. Don't ever bother to check out the other things in WA. Well, you might not have full access yet since you're still in free membership, right?

Being A Premium Membership

Now, you want to get serious with affiliate marketing. You've paid the premium membership and you want to make money to cover the cost of premium membership, right?

So, by now you should have a good basic on affiliate marketing since you're already go through the first courses in one of the main training. When you have strong basic knowledge, you can go faster than you could imagine.

In the first week of being premium membership, you should do these things:

1. Create a website
2. Create a schedule for content creation
3. Complete atleast 1 lessons per day
4. Start reading other's people blog
5. Follow top WA members

You'll get a lot of valuable information by reading and follow the top WA members. This really important for your first week of being premium membership. This is because, their blog post will motivate you to keep going on and prevent you to give up.

Getting Even Serious

Now you really believe affiliate marketing is a lucrative business model. You know you can make a lot of money with affiliate marketing if you go through the training properly. Other's blogs have motivate you to move even further.

So, secure your own domain. Buy the domain at the SiteDomain and transfer your website to the brand new domain. This is because, by using your own .com domain, it's so much easier to rank in Google later on.

Keep updating your website with fresh content every day to gain trust from Google.

The other things you need to do:

1. Do SiteComment
2. Do SiteFeedback
3. Take part in live chat
4. Say hello to new member
5. Comment to blogs
6. Ask questions

This time you need to have a network. They can support you whenever you need them. So, in order to increase your network, you need to approach them first.

So, that's my advice for newbies. It's hard to do affiliate marketing alone but when you have atleast 1 person willing to help and support you, affiliate marketing is way too easy and fun to do.

My advice might not applicable to some people since I'm also a newbie in affiliate marketing. All the things I've share above are based on my experience. If you find this post is good, then I'm really appreciate it.
