The Priceless Reaction of a Child
(Cover Photo: My Princess Melissa Jeane)
Hi everyone,
I really got angry at Wen today and its ok all around.
I purchased some nice things for Melissa Jeane and I told Wen to wait until I came back home and then I'd give them to Melissa Jeane.
Well when I got back home, Melissa Jeane was already playing with them. !!!
I have never been so angry like this. I am still upset.
There is a Silver lining though.
For me, its a priceless gift to see and feel Melissa Jeane's reaction when I get her something or do something for her. Truly Priceless. It goes beyond words.
It really shows the importance of getting our priorities straight and what we value most.
So I gained a little more wisdom while losing the chance to see Melissa Jeane's reaction.
Its also a reminder of a phrase I wrote to myself this past week:
"What can I do today that will matter tomorrow if I am gone?"
That's a fairly profound one to me and I give it thought each day.
So much time is needlessly wasted as if there is forever in front of me. I'm trying to do better about that.
Peace & Love,
Mel Waller

Hi Mel,
There will be many opportunities to surprise your child with nice gifts and actions in the future. Don't be upset 😊

Yes, Nellya, but that opportunity will never come again. I'm always giving her something every day and her response/reaction is worth more than all the money in the world.

There is always a new day! 😊
