Facebook Ads Disabled
Cover Photo: Stop Sign)
Hi everyone,
A very frustrating few hours.
It started when my bank denied my FB ads after they were running and being paid for.
It took me 2 calls to the bank to get my Debit Card working again.
FB got paid for what was waiting to get paid.
Tried to turn on Ad campaign. I couldn't figure it out. So I started a new campaign.
Facebook needed to verify with bank. Couldn't verify. They asked for more info. I provided it.
Then FB said: Your ad was approved.
20 minutes later, FB Disabled my Account.
Its almost laughable (maybe tomorrow), but it is really upsetting.
I will try another Ad network soon.

This happened to me at a crucial time when I was following a training and I didn’t want to get behind. I opened an account in my husband’s name so I could keep ads going until my account was reopened. I think my husband’s reaction was worse than being locked out of Facebook, haha, but it worked.
How frustrating, Mel.
I'm not sure if you've heard of Ben Heath (in the UK)? He has great free training on Facebook Ads (and Google Ads).
See what he has to say here, in this short video, about a disabled Facebook A/C: https://youtu.be/nx83WbjKKr0?si=KPc7a_nycqkIGCNB
Good luck!
Good morning Mel,
I'm genuinely sorry to hear that you had problems with Facebook ads. This type of thing can be so time-consuming and before we know it, the day has gone!
I'm afraid this is one of the many reasons why I don't use Facebook for anything serious. They really do not deserve the business, it seems impossible to reach out to anyone. I would try and look for another platform, Mel.
I hope you have a better day today.
Roy
Yes, understandable. I'm in Facebook "timeout" as well. But, thankfully, I'm not going to them for ads, trying a different approach.
Even my Google ads are in "timeout", but I'm not ready to put in the time to appeal their findings at this time.
Gonna continue to work organic traffic for February.
Good luck!
Love the message here. Could just be AI auto shutting off your ad. Don't let this experience get you down. You're more knowledgable about the process and when you figure it out you can share it with everyone and add move value to their lives ❤️ Let's go!

Yes, that happened to me. There were people trying to hack my FB page. I kept getting messages from meta saying my page was in violation of fb policies. At first I panicked and tried to bring my page into compliance. And then I noticed the messages were coming from people with new Facebook accounts. I reported them to fb. Nothing happened so I just blocked them. A few months later fb said they couldn't access my PayPal account to pay for my ads. They stopped the ad after a few hours, but asked me to make a full payment. I have been using PayPal with fb for years. I know I got hacked and fb didn't do anything, so I just left it. Now I have a notice that my other page is violating fb policies and can't be recommended. I've had that page since 2012. I don't care for fb. I'm thinking of trying their other platform Instagram. Have you tried Instagram? If so how is it?
Thanks for sharing Kundi! I have not really utilized IG yet.
