Hi Everyone,
Blue Yeti Mic
Thanks again to Kyle & Mike Curtis for the recommendation that I asked for in Wealthy Affiliate.
Its all set up now and I'll start using it for making more Youtube videos for my Financial Freedom Starts Now channel.
I just need to add lots of content and get those watch hours to monetize. I already have the subscribers.
I believe I am going to have a lot of fun with this. :-)

It’s a great mic, Mel. I used it for years with a voice over business with much success. Have fun!

It’s a positive step…but it’s still a long wait out of this mess. An election can’t come soon enough.

Great Mel you’re going to love it. To get great sound and less background noise make sure that big button is not turned too high. I can see you have too much to the right Mel.
Which button? The one facing you or us in the picture.
Move it to the left more. Almost midway from off. This way you get great sound and less feedback noise.
Example, if you hit the table you won’t hear that much. Or cars passing by etc.
The best way is the move the dial off completely and make one small turn on. Record and test for sound quality.
Let me know how it goes.
Happy recording

Good morning Mel,
I hope that you get on well with the Blue Yeti microphone, I know that many people recommend this particular microphone. I would be interested to hear how it works out for you.
I use a Sennheiser headset, which gives a very clear and crystal-clear sound. However, I purchased a Blue Yeti and then a slightly more expensive Rode microphone; unfortunately, I sent them both back because I just couldn't get a clear, crystal-clear sound. So, I am still using the Sennheiser headset. I'm sure that a lot of this is due to the type of room I am using, which is just a small box room but great for a Home Office.
Wishing you all the best.
Roy
PS: I have a relatively cheap budget desktop microphone and the quality of sound between that and more expensive microphones was absolutely minimal. This is just my personal and honest experience.
Thanks for sharing Roy! :-)
