Success Mantra verses - Always believe in You!
My passion has always been writing. I think that's what appealed to me about affiliate marketing. The opportunity to build a sustainable and profitable business doing something that I love.
I particularly like writing motivational poetry and some of my work has been showcased in art exhibitions, on menu's and even on restaurants walls. My biggest passion is sharing it with others and using my play of words to light up people's days whilst at the same time giving something of value to them that they can utilize to achieve their goals.
I often write motivational poetry for my own creative blog as it I think it makes good content rather than writing content that is classed as hard sell. I find that providing good quality content gives added value to my prospective customers. My poems often leave my visitors with a good memorable experience of my site and has helped me to win new business.
I have set myself a goal to write an article a day and I was perched on the end of my sofa looking around my apartment for a muse. My eyes fell on my notebook which is full of my vision poetry so I thought that it would make a good blog post. So here goes..
Always believe in you
Always say I can
Repeat I will, I have
Remember to say I can
A thought starts the process
A belief makes it true
Taking action to achieve our goals
Builds a brand new you!
Always believe in you
It indeed gives you the drive
You'll watch your business flourish
And quickly you'll thrive!

I like that, Melanie. I can write just about anything in anybody's "voice," but I suck at poetry. Not sure why. Probably my crappy imagination. I have several friends who are fantastic poets, though.
Hi Carla, thanks for reading and commenting. You have a gift for matching a writer's voice. This is a skill in itself and obviously crucial as a ghost writer. Did it take you a long time to learn how to do that or did it just come naturally? Yes, so have I. I keep encouraging them to get themselves published.
The editing with me was more natural. Errors started jumping off the page at me when I was about 7. The picking up on someone's "voice" was acquired. When I contract with someone to write in their "voice," I ask for prior work. I have to know who they are. Little by little, it got easier. Now before I work with an author for editing, I make them send me 10 pages of the work they want edited. I do it gratis and send it back to them. If they like what I did, we have a deal. If not, it didn't take me that long and I probably don't want to work with them anyway. It'll just be a constant fight. I won't do that anymore.
Hi Carla . It was obviously meant to be. You obviously found your passion and calling so to speak at a young age. That's a good way to do it and gives the customer a chance to see whether you're right for them and vice a versa. I can imagine that saves a lot of time in the long run. Yes, we live and learn as they say.

Would love to see your website someday. I was actually talking about my poetry with someone yesterday. It's from years ago and I haven't written any of late but I have decided to pull it out and read it.
Hi Rick, I'm just building my website at the moment. I've been using a blog however I'm planning on buying a domain name for it for obvious reasons. I do tend to get work from it however now I know about how the search engines index etc it makes sense to turn it into a website. I'll send you the link to it shortly.
