Amazon says I live in an ineligible state?

Yes, that is correct. Because some states tax Amazon sales and consider affiliates as either contractors or employees of a local "storefront". Missouri is one of those states. .

You will find the ineligible states listed in the operating agreement - Scroll down at No. 2 - Enrollment.

"In addition, if at any time following your enrollment in the Program you become a resident of Arkansas, Louisiana, Maine, Missouri, Rhode Island, or Vermont, you will become ineligible to participate in the Program, and this Operating Agreement will automatically terminate, on the date you establish residency in that state...."

Californians used to be ineligible but lobbyists put a lot of pressure on the government and they repealed the sales tax law.

There are plenty of other affiliate programs that don't have this issue.

yes...this should be at the front end of WA, not this far along. Thank you!

I'm not sure how Kyle and Carson would keep track of sales tax laws in each state or country or how that effects affiliate programs.

There are tens of thousands of affiliate programs.

Each affiliate program and network has its own terms and conditions and that can change at any time for any of them.

You don't need Amazon to succeed.

I can certainly understand your frustration...lol.

Clearly though, Amazon is the big draw. There should be at least some kind of note that a person should check. It might have made a difference in my spending decisions. I bought my first site based upon selling cameras, mostly from Amazon as I am very familiar with them. Either way, I will find a way around it. Thank you for your help, I do appreciate it.

I have pointed www.americanstudio.net to the servers here. It appears that it has been recognized, but I can't seem to access it. I've tried to move the one I am working on to

Refer to the answers given to michaelhorn in the tutorial below Hope this helps =)

Thank you. It doesn't answer my question. I have pointed an existing website to the WA nameservers. This is for buying a new domain or transferring one. I'm trying to avoid buying it. When you transfer a site, it requires you to buy it again. By pointing it, I don't have to buy it again.

As far as I know, when you transfer a website, it doesn’t require you to buy anything other than a hosting which is not the case here.

Anyway, the one I want you to see is not the video, but the answer I gave to michaelhorn because he had the same problem as yours.

You bought your domain outside of WA and you pointed the DNS to WA DNS, right? So, in order for you to see and access the domain in the Site Manager, you have to build a site first with the domain. Only then you will be able to move it. The process is the same like building the Siterubix.

Go to SiteRubix – Site Builder. Select On a Domain I Own and type in your domain name in the Add Your Domain Name box. A green tick will appear as you finished typing. Then, just fill in everything.

After you click on I’m Ready, Build My Site Now, go to SiteRubix – Site Manager. Locate the website you want to move and click on the Move blue button. Choose To an Existing Domain and select the new domain name from the Choose existing dropdown. Then, click I’m Ready, Move My Site. Everything will be overwritten and all your contents will be moved to the new domain.

Thanks again. I tried all that, it didn't work. If you actually transfer a site, you have to buy it again. If you are only pointing it (meaning that it remains hosted at the other site and that you are editing it through this site) it registered that it was pointed to our DNS, but would not allow me to access it. I went ahead and made the transfer anyway and paid for the renewal. No, it wasn't expired. Just the way it works here. I still believe in in WA, don't get me wrong, but I'm starting to really invest here.

No problem. Sorry, I can’t help you much. I should have asked you to send a support ticket regarding this problem.

It's okay. I'm just ready to get my page on my domain. I have enough on the temp space. I do appreciate you trying to help out though!
