Has it really been that long?!?
So, just got the 6 month badge today, and I must admit I received it with somewhat mixed emotions... ;)
I might as well say it like it is, I am nowhere near the place I had hoped to be after 6 months!
-But it is nobody's fault but my own. I haven't been as quick and consistent with writing and posting as I could have. This is down to a lot of different factors. Primarily the fact that I am just a super busy guy, I have studies, work, a five year old daughter, and a music career that all compete for my time and attention...
It's a bit much at times, but I love all of it, and wouldn't give up any of it! :)
So what am I gonna do?
I'll tell you...
I am going to reiterate the fact that this is a marathon, and not a sprint, and that I am building a business that will eventually (hopefully) replace my current job.
I am going to find peace with the fact that building up my site and my traffic is going to take a bit longer, than it does for some other people.
And finally I am going to keep working consistently and as much as possible towards my goal. Keep with the training, cause it IS working ( most of my post are ranked in Google) confident in the fact that this WILL amount to something more than what it is now.
Oh, and one last thing...
SOS... Shiny Objects Syndrome... You know, when you find something else that looks promising, and you get distracted. End up spending valuable time on stuff that is not important... Time that could have been spent writing another blog post for you site... Yes, I am guilty of that!
BUT NO MORE, I TELLS YA!
-Focus, young padowan!

Something I can relate with those SOS.
I would say 'NO' too. Enough is enough!
Thanks for the post.

It's such a tricky thing, right?!? ;)
But yes, absolutely... 'NO' is the word!
Thanks for your comment.
Best wishes,
Michael
