Getting it right the second time around.
So, I've joined WA with the fire in my belly that most new people begin with. I ripped through the lessons and created my very first website and felt great. Then I got called away for a whole bunch of months and now I am back.
I am doing the training all over again, and this time I am taking my time to really follow the lessons ONE BY ONE without skipping ahead, thinking I know it all.
I see lots of comments from new people asking others how much they're making etc etc
The ONLY way to be successful is by taking your time and maintaing your patience.
You must enjoy what you're doing and not get too frustrated. Yesterday my visual editor went away and it took me 32 hrs to figure out what I did wrong. I still don't know what happened but it's back :)
It took me 5 hours to get my personal email working as a forward to my new domain.
Why? who knows! It just did.
Things take time.
So relax and enjoy the experience here. Ask questions and don't forget to take breaks!

Firstly it is great that you are back! That shows true dedication and commitment. I agree completely, you cannot hope to achieve much as a flash in the pan, you need to be prepared to work hard and most of all be consistent. But it should also be enjoyable.
