Merry Christmas Blessings to My Family and Friends.
Good morning!
May the Father grant many Merry Christmas blessings to my family and friends.
And when He does, count your blessings and name them one by one. Remember always to say, "Thank you."
There is no time to waste being unappreciative or unkind to one another.
Life is too short. You're here today and gone suddenly tomorrow. Some of of us live for the moment without a care about what is after.
You need to at least commit to some form of futuristic preparation if love is what we feel for each other.
From historical teachings, Christmas was a day based on love for humanity. Let us celebrate the rememberance of that time in proper fashion by giving love. As a matter of fact, you are encouraged to spread love each and every day.
I found a classic Christmas poem with the help of my Chatty. Here it goes as follows:
"Christmas Bells" by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
I heard the bells on Christmas Day
Their old, familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet
The words repeat
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!
And thought how, as the day had come,
The belfries of all Christendom
Had rolled along
The unbroken song
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!
Till ringing, singing on its way,
The world revolved from night to day,
A voice, a chime,
A chant sublime
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!
Then from each black, accursed mouth
The cannon thundered in the South,
And with the sound
The carols drowned
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!
It was as if an earthquake rent
The hearth-stones of a continent,
And made forlorn
The households born
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!
And in despair I bowed my head;
"There is no peace on earth," I said;
"For hate is strong,
And mocks the song
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!"
Then pealed the bells more loud and deep:
"God is not dead, nor doth He sleep;
The Wrong shall fail,
The Right prevail,
With peace on earth, good-will to men."
Have a Merry Christmas with continous blessings and a Happy New Year!
Love,

Funny that you should include that particular Christmas carol. It's been a tradition with me, especially when I lived in the woods on Spruce Island, to go outside on Christmas day and sing the first four verses of that song at the top of my lungs...my special celebration. On Spruce Island, just the wildlife heard me. Outside here, a few neighbors may also hear it -- but the message is loud and clear, and such a good one for this day.
Hope your Christmas has been/is outstanding!
It's simply beautiful, Fran. No wonder you love it so much. π₯°π
