Been tied up with a few things lately- day job, recovering from a cycling mishap, family stuff. You know, the usual distractions!

Last week I managed to get Yoast installed and configured. And today I spent some time working on my SEO. I worked through some WA training to get Fetch with Google working for me.

A big shout out to Paul Goodwin for all his great blog posts on SEO and social media. I used them to create myself a checklist of things to do with each post and then I walked through it for a couple of my posts. And I actually got a couple of promising results! One of my posts ended up on the first page of a Google search for my keyword phrase! YAY! And I received a totally unsolicited comment on one of my other posts.

So, this SEO stuff works if you work it! Now to figure out what the Google Analytics mean and see if any of this stuff converts! Whoohooo!

It´s great news, Lou! Every little progress counts! The checklist of which steps are to do if we publish a post is a great idea! I was also thinking about to do this but I am still learning the process, so I don´t have all puzzle pieces for this.

Thanks Gabriella. When I get back to my computer, I will share my checklist with you. Once everything is set up, it's not too bad. But it took a few hours getting everything set up.
