My First Month

Hi Everyone,

I'm currently just coming to the end of my first month at WA and I must say it's been quite a productive one I must say.

The First Hurdle

There is one aspect about the initial training that at first threw me off a little and this is where I reached the point in the training where I was asked to write a CONTENT post consisting of 1000+ words, now this may not seem much to some people but for me it was a giant task, or at least I thought it was going to be, the reason been is that I have never typed or written for that matter about anything that consists of 1000 words plus.

The reason that it's a big deal for me at least is I now have (1 month later) around 5-6 posts all consisting of over 1000 words and my biggest post has around 2500 which at this point I'm very proud of.

Now I understand fully that its not always about the Length of the post but the quality that matters but with that said I believe I have produced a few really good quality pieces of content for somebody just starting out and it has been quite motivating to do so as I thought initially that this would take me so long to even achieve the completion of 1 post never mind 6.

My main point here is that if you are reading this and you have maybe just started out at WA and see this as a task too big for yourself then I beg you to reconsider and give it your best.

I am by no mean the best writer in the world nor the fastest but with some determination and desire to stick to it I,ve managed to get this far and it feels pretty good if I'm honest knowing that I've basically followed and completed all that was asked of me in the training without deviating too much which is a lot more than I can say when I've started other projects.

First Climpse At WA

When I first came onto WA 1 month ago I did not know what to expect but hand on heart within the first 1 hour of been on this site I could not believe that there was such a platform that has this sort of community along with vast amount of knowledge and training offered, its almost like something clicked and told me I was in the right place to learn about the online world of business.

Having it so structured is just the best, you can't beat it, it has just stopped me from digressing all the time and allowed me to focus on specific task as appose to bouncing around the internet trying to find the starting point and the how to spending too much time in the wrong places which has been unsuccessful up to now.

In all honesty Moving forward over the coming months I would like to see just ONE complete website made by myself be and if I can successfully direct TRAFFIC to my website and by traffic I mean just like 10 people then that would be success in my eyes, that will show me all I need to see, the money can come later but that would be enough proof for me showing that I'm doing the right things, and give me all the drive moving further forward.

Finding My Niche

When it came to the time when I needed to decide on a Niche I thought that I would struggle slightly with the decision but it turns out that not only did it not take long it was also something that I was interested in.

This was a big eye-opener as it showed me that writing about something that you are actually interested in is easier than I first thought. The was the main driver for me to get those lengthy content pages created by simply writing all that was coming to my mind at the time, this has been just another one of those moments for me where I realized that I can do this and can no doubt do it again.

The main take away from this is if you are like me and can be indecisive at times then don't be find something you are interested in regardless of how simple of a subject it may seem and just start writing about it, trust me the ideas will soon start flowing.

Research

To research my Niche I would simply give a set amount of time on research and taking notes, after I had my notes I would the start the content page and glimpse at my notes to find a stream of words to go by, this helped me to also be creative and add to the notes making for a great piece of content for my website.

If you already have some prior experience/knowledge on your Niche then the research part for content is made so much easier. This goes hand in hand with KEYWORDS as having specific keyword lists saved ignites the ideas for content and gives you a firm base to work from. I'm now glad that I have further knowledge on this subject because it will certainly help me in the future and should also help you if you are in the same boat as me.

Push On

If you are reading this an unsure and having any doubts just remember that it's just RESISTANCE and it's the resistance you need to fight against just like I did at the start when I was asked to write a 1000+ content page I personally thought there wasn't enough hours in a week for me to do that but it was.

I hate to keep banging on about the whole 1000 word subject but it was a massive deal for me at the time and did take maybe 4 hours of writing time to complete which may sound a lot but that time is descending at every post so please stick with ti and get over any hurdles like I plan on doing at the next.
