Gathering momentum - I doubled my commission in a month!

Anyone who has read my previous blogs will know that I started my site last October.
I pretty much wrote the first couple of months off in terms of earning commissions as I was busy learning and building my site. And as you know Kyle from Wealthy Affiliate says that generally it's not until about the 3 month mark that you will earn a commission (if you follow the program that is) - he was right!
I thought I'd share how my commissions have grown over the months to show that you can actually earn money and how in 1 month it actually doubled in relation to the previous month and has almost quadrupled since I started.
Momentum is definitely gathering.......
So, all in US dollars.
Jan = $171.85
Here's where I became disheartened but continued on....until.....
April = $132.10

July = $554.02
Aug = Only 3 days in and I've made $137.90.....so I'm expecting an even bigger month than July.
Total so far: $1362.74
I have to say I was pretty consistent with writing content until COVID hit at which point I had to direct my energies elsewhere.
But, even with COVID hitting and my not being able to spend much time at all (if any) working on my site my commissions have grown.
I can only imagine what I might have seen if I had continued to devote as much or a fraction of the time I had spent on my site in the beginning.
Although it might seem like a pittance I know that the potential is massive and I'm just very happy that I've made money whilst I've been sleeping.
But, it's all been down to following the training here at Wealthy Affiliate, the technical support provided by Wealthy Affiliate, the help of this community and the work I've put in.
For those that are unsure about whether or not to give affiliate marketing a go or are disheartened in some way, I hope this is heartening in some way for you. It has been for me.
I'm excited at the potential that affiliate marketing has. I hope to devote more time in the future to really reap the rewards but for now, I'm grateful and I know you can make money online.
