30 Days To Crush Email Marketing!

Day 21

Who Bought My Product?

Hey guys, welcome to Day 21 of my 30 Day Email Marketing Challenge. It's the weekend and I hope everyone is doing the stuff they love to do.

I've a massively important question to ask you today...the answer to which can directly impact how successful you'll business will be!

Do you know who your target audience is?

Do you know your market and who you want to serve?

I know I know, I've actually just asked you 2 questions! I'll really have to go away and work on my maths :) but in my defence they kind of both go hand in hand.

Before we can start to build a successful business..we have to know who it is we want to reach!

Talking from my own personal experience, don't make the mistake of building your business first before deciding who your target audience is. That's like building a house from the ground up and then saying..."Oh Sh#t I forgot to lay the foundations"

Ready to put this into action?

Start your free journey today — no credit card required.

Deciding who you want to target is your very first step. Once you know who your audience is you then need to connect with them. And trust me, without a proper connection you'll never grow your list.

Within previous posts I've mentioned the dangers of thinking of our subscribers in terms of list size instead of individuals. Believe you me, if we make this mistake it'll create a disconnection between us and our readership that will eventually destroy our list.

Remember always that we are dealing with real people and our aim must remain constant, to serve our members in a way that helps them solve their problems and/or reach their goals.

To create that connection with our target audience stop thinking of them as a crowd or a large number. The way I achieve this is to imagine my ideal reader and write my message to them as if it is a one on one conversation. Every reader wants to feel that special bond, that they are the only person in the room.

The final thing I want to mention is how important listening is. One of the comments I received in yesterdays post from elizabeth mentioned it and it is so so true.

By actively listening to what your audience has to say you'll quickly figure out how best to connect with them. Listening encourages interaction and builds trust.

I will leave it there for today...if you've enjoyed my post don't forget to click like and as always I would love to hear your comments if you want to leave one below.

So how do we actually keep our readers coming back for more? That's what we'll be chatting about tomorrow..see you then.

I will leave you with my thought of the day...

You'd better believe it!

Have a wonderful Saturday...
