Words of Wisdom for Internet Entrepreneurs

I am always looking for nuggets of inspiration from people who are further along the road than I am.

I am fascinated by people’s stories. I am inspired by members who are Ambassadors and deserve to be.

The ‘Secrets Exposed’ series is a collection of books compile by successful Australian entrepreneur Dale Beaumont. He has searched out successful people in their field and recorded their stories. They write them themselves and answer a number of relevant questions.

The secrets exposed are those of:

• Public speakers
• Inspiring women
• Small business owners
• Success Coaches and more.

The reader of these books discovers wisdom from real people.

Recently I read “The Secrets of Internet Marketers Exposed.”

As the WA community is a community of Internet Entrepreneurs I would like to share some of the points I highlighted.

• 1.Attitude and mindset is the most important thing in LIFE. Our mindset determines our success or failure.
• 2.The role of goals cannot be over-emphasized. Goals keep us focussed and provide a sense of purpose. Don’t start your business without knowing your short term and long term goals.
• 3.If you want to get you have to give first. This is a universal law.
• 4.To ensure your business thrives you have to know what motivates people.
• 5.Be clear about what your business provides. Do your products and services provide solutions to problems people may have? People are looking for solutions to their problems. Your online business has to provide value. The more value provided the more money is made.
• 6.Your website needs to be well designed because the first impression is important. It must be easy to navigate, provide useful information and an easy way for the user to request information by contacting you.
• 7.There are no successful get rich schemes. Online businesses, like all business, takes persistence and resources. It is not a quick route to success. Business fundamentals still apply and we need to master them.
• 8.The Internet is constantly changing so it is imperative we keep up with the latest trends and changes.
• 9.BLOGS are an essential part of online marketing.
• 10.Your income has to exceed your costs. If it isn’t you must find out why. You may have to change direction and seek advice. Don’t go it alone.

I have undervalued WA this year. I have not thought enough about how I can contribute to the community. That is going to change. I have my yearly subscription ready to pay.

As a member of Wealthy Affiliate I am able to do something about the third point. The other bases are covered.
