I feel like ive hit a brick wall. Im currently on level 2 of my training and in the middle of creating an article for a post, Ive ran out of stuff to write about.

Has this ever happend to any of you?

Your creating content for your website and in the middle of it you find your self taking a break from continuing?

That is currently where Im at. Brainstorming and thinking of ways to finish off my article.

Anyways i just thought I would share and let everyone know where Im at In my and hopefully encourage others that it is copletley normal to run into stumbling blocks here and there.

It is normal. It happens to us all Juan. You will get past it and back on track.

Cool, thank you Linda. It has stopped me from progressing lately but I’m preparing myself to stop complaining and finish my article:)

Definitely a stumbling block for me. You are right to take a break. It will come just don't procrastinate too long.
Wanda

Nope I won’t take too much time off. I plan of completing it and moving on. One way or another even if it ends up being my worst post it’s going to have to get done soon.

This is all part of the process. I often google what I am talking about for further ideas.

Derek

Will do keep on researching until I can put out enough words. Thank you for replying

Haha! it is part of the process, I hit this constantly, so don't feel alone :)

Thank you. I’m sure we’ve all been there.
Just a minor set back. The key is to overcome.
I’ll finish and go over it tomorrow. Just had to step back for a minute.

Me too, the wall is my hiding place lol and sometimes I spend hours banging my head against it 🤣

Yes. I think it happens to most of us. If you can't write then do some research, take notes and build on them until you can write again. Jim

Yep. My problem was jumping into the writing while researching as I went on. Found myself going in circles. But you all gave great advice. Build your article while you research, then type and publish. It all gets easier with a little more experience.

I hit that wall on my about me post!

I usually find a really simple template helps, breaking the article down into small sections. that way you only need to focus on 250-500 words.

I do my research and then write a plan (what is going in each of my paragraphs) then I write the titles of my sections. That seems to help me flow and keep on topic.

If you need to just take 'turtle steps', write for 15 minutes (set a timer) then take a break. You will find that you can get an article done in a day this way.

Quite often it is fear that gets us stuck, fear we don't know what we are doing. Are we doing it right? Fear that actual real life people are going to read it. Fear whether we are good enough. Fear of writing. especially if you have never written before.

so don't set yourself quality targets or expectations. Make the target simply to write. Your brain and body are wonderful things, but they can also paralyse you very easily.

You can do this. I have a saying which comes from the 'Just Survive Somehow' saying and it is 'Just write something'

That was my next step is to research and write it out first, instead of writing it out all at once as I go.
I do feel like my article is bouncing all over the place from history to how to's, and finally crashed. Inexperience does play a big part.
You have great advice on creating the article first then the title. I am going to go that route. Thank you for the help, I know I will get thru this.

Glad I could be of help. But don’t be hard on yourself, even those who have been here for years, hit the wall once in a while x

I usually write from my experience at WA and I find words just flow but I do procrastinate a little bit in that I mean instead of finishing 2 articles in a day I finish in 5 days but will improve

And yes it’s very normal..Thanks for sharing

Yes Once you get into it words just flow and can be fun. It might just be my subject that I chose. Not experience related but more keyword quality related.
