All The Plugins You Need For Your Website!

Hey everyone! So today I thought I'd write a post about all the plugins you'd minimally need for your website. These plugins allow for the basic maintenance of a website, while trying to minimize the number of additional plugins that would slow down your site. These are from my experience, so please let me know in the comments if there are any more plugins that you guys would recommend!

1. All-In-One SEO

Standard SEO management tool that Kyle goes through during his Certification Course. You can use either this one or Yoast (haven't looked much at it but I've heard it's second to All-In-One SEO as a SEO plugin

2. EWWW Image Optimizer

This is just an image optimizer (again covered by Kyle during the Certification Course). Not sure if there are any better ones out there but I've been using this so far and it's been doing the job.

3. Anti-Spam Plugin

If your website is hosted at WA, then SiteProtect handles all the spam issues; you'll never have to worry about it! if your website is hosted elsewhere, though, you might want to get yourself an antispam plugin, though. Better safe than sorry, right?

4. SSL Insecure Content Fixer

This one is a must-have if your site is failing to show that beautiful green padlock in the address bar. This helps you fix any content that's preventing that green padlock from appearing. I got this idea from MarionBlack, and has come in extremely useful for me!

5. No Category Base (WPML)

This isn't a necessary plugin, but really cleans up your blog posts' URLs! It does this by removing the '/category' in the address bar/URL for your post. More of an aesthetic feature than anything.
