Give me 10,000 and I'll make you rich
Anyone else crazy like me and attends get rich quick seminars?
Every now and then, I go along to one of those free 'I'll make you rich' type seminars. I am not the ideal audience member as I have no intention of buying anything! Even though I know a hard sell will be woven into the day-long 'learning', I do find being in the audience useful in a strange way.
Why do I go?
That question was going round and round my head as I sat in a humid basement the other day with 200 eager souls. I attend to network, possibly learn something and be energised being with likeminded strivers and triers!
What did I learn?
I'm already in the best place for learning and growing!
WA is the most comprehensive 'programme' / platform / training (whatever you want to call it!) available. No, it won't make you rich quick, but it gives you the opportunity to build a sustainable future.
The speaker did remind me Selling is an art and a science
Here are some little nuggets I'llkeep in mind when writing and building content for website / blog.
- People pay for value and experience (buying is not just about price)
- Sell the results, not the process
- Nobody wants to be sold to, but people want to buy
Following the training here at WA will help keep me focused on being profitable.

I went to one years ago and the speaker went on and on about real estate deals that seemed too good to be true. Then I noticed a few people toward the wind down of the pitch moving to chairs in the back of the room. Sure enough! They were prepositioning for the close when the speaker announced a killer of a deal but only if you signed up now! Then knowing what was coming stood by and laughed as 90% of the attendees stampeded to the rear.
Yep. It's is sales that's for sure! With a soupçon of info - that's the bit to go for, but you have to listen to a lot of crap for the info! Thanks for your comment. All the best
I have attended webinars that were 'get rich quick schemes', but after attending one or two, I learned that it certainly was NOT for me. That is why I chose WA and have never looked back :-)
I love the "sell the result" and "value and experience" you always pick up something of value on those seminars
Once in a while. As long as I cone away with a nugget of wisdom then it's not a complete waste of time!
I think you do come away with useful information even if you don't get involved....I have attended a lot of motivational seminars for the same reason....at the end of the day, it's still a hard slog!
You're right. And better to see them as motivational seminars, rather than 'someone trying to take my money talking rubbish!'. Good luck to you

Maggie,
I have attended some of those seminars. I understand why you would go and it is a good idea for networking.
Thanks for sharing.
