Steps to starting a new business
Back in January 2017, I was cruising the internet, not sure what I was looking for at the time but I found a website promoting Wealthy Affiliates. The website owner's name was/is Mike and I liked what he had to say. Free membership and free websites caught my eye and I thought, what do I have to lose? Those first 4 days in the free membership were exciting (still are) and there was so much to absorb. I became anxious to keep the access to all this knowledge as I knew that a lot of the information was offered to Premium members only. I did not want to lose it after one week, so I signed up as a Premium member shortly after!
I have used website builders before and had tried to build a store with Weebly. However, their spreadsheet feeds were not compatible with the stores in China that I was dealing with and I gave up in frustration. Come to think of it, I guess that is probably what I had in mind that day I found WA, I was searching for an alternative. I still have a Weebly website,it was easy to set up and they have really good support there (not as good as here though), however there are many limits in their builders.
I have discovered during the process of building out a website here, within the safety of WA, that the sky is the limit! Wealthy Affiliates has so many safety nets in place within their programming, that being hosted here, I feel like my website is as safe as it can be. I have discovered that as Wealthy Affiliates courses take me through, one step at a time, I often veer off in other directions, experimenting with new knowledge. I often spend time reading other members blogs, their questions and answers and popping into their websites to gain inspiration.
What amazes me, after I have spent some time on Facebook, that everyone here is glad to follow or like when I ask, I of course do the same. On Facebook, my queries often go ignored by most of my Facebook friends because they are all so busy 'sharing', that they have stopped listening. I don't feel that way here, most people here really are listening! Wealthy Affiliate trully is a University, and I am so glad I found you all.
