12 Things I Do Every Single Day!

Some days are run of the mill days and other days are different but there are some things that don't change and that I do every single day of my life. Here are 12 things that I do every day no matter what.

1. Drink Coffee

I may have one cup of coffee to start my day and I might follow this up with another 10 to keep me going or I may just have that one morning cup of coffee.. but my day starts with a cup of coffee without fail.

If something tries to come inbetween me and my morning coffee then my whole say starts wrong and all hope is lost.

Yes it is that bad!

2. Pack Kids Lunches,Take Them To School, Do Homework

Ok so I only take them to school during the week, but if it is weekends insert "make endless sandwiches with the crusts cut off" into this space.

I drive my kids to school in the next town every day and drive back again to collect them. Yes there is a bus they could take but this is something I enjoy doing and until they are older mommy will be watching them like a hawk.

I sit with my daughter every afternoon while she does her homework. She started school this year and has just started with homework. I want to get her off to a good and solid start with homework routine.

3. Check Emails

I get loads of enquiries via email for sponsored posts, guest posts and influencer jobs. My days starts off with checking my emails and I keep my emails open all day so I can respond as fast as possible.

4. Check WA

Yes that is high on my list of priorities. There were many months I never posted any blogs here, never published any training and never said a word in chat. But I was here and I was watching.

If someone asked me a question I would respond and if someone signed up under me I would welcome them and keep an eye out but other than that I was quiet.

Now I've decided to be more active, but I was always here.

5. Check and Approve Website Comments

I keep an eye on my website engagement every day and I reply to comments as soon as possible.

6. Write Every Day

I might not write and complete a blog post every single day but I do write every day and I do publish every week day on at least one of my websites.

I might write a new forum topic on my parenting website, or start writing a blog post and save it as a draft but I am writing every day.

Some days I don't write on my websites but in my notebook that I take everywhere with me. I have bulletpoint notes on ideas for content, ideas for new training to publish.. personal experiences I want to remember to write about.... and many more things.

The point is that I write - a lot - every day!

7. Share My Content Socially

Ok so the truth is that I don't often log onto social media anymore unless it is so share something or grab some links to give a campaign report to a customer.

I actually use software to share most of my content every day so that I don't have to do it and get sucked into social media... but my content is being sent out into the universe every day.

8. Learn Something New

It may be something awesome and huge that I learn or it may be something small and seemingly insignificant but I learn all the time.

I really believe that this is vitally important to eveyone. The moment you stop learning your brain gets lazy. It is like a muscle, so work it every single day and make it work hard. Make it strong!

9. Laundry, Dishes and Cooking

Oh how I wish it wasn't so - but there are some things that you just can't escape from! These are some things that I wish I didn't have to do and one day when I reach my goals I will hire someone to come and do these things for me... although I might keep the cooking for myself.

While it is a chore and something that takes up time and energy I am very particular about what my family eat and I actually enjoy fattening them up. The dishes and laundry? Those can GO!

10. Eating Supper Together

We eat supper together as a family every single night. During the week my husband has left before we wake up and I am running around like a headless chicken in the morning while my kids eat breakfast, trying to get everything ready for school.

Lunch times are also often all over the place, but when supper time comes we all sit together. This is a rule that I grew up with and one that I have been adamant about when our children were born. We will eat supprt together every single night.

11. Kisses For Everyone

I kiss my children every day - more than once a day... ok I can't count how many times. I can't help it. Sometimes they scream and run but I get them and I kiss them.

I kiss my husband when he comes home from work and If one of us goes out too. He hates it but I do it anyway.

12. Tuck My Kids Into Bed

My husband and I take turns to bath our kids and put them to bed. But I sneak in later when it is his night anyway just to tuck them in and give them a last kiss. Sometimes they are asleep when I do this but it doesn't matter.

Aw, lovely post, Lynne. Thanks for giving us insight into your daily non negotiables. It gave us insight into you as a Mom too.

Good job , you are a busy lady.
Trevor

awe! You are a great Mom!

LOL...that's a pretty long day in my books :)

ROFL - Oh there is plenty more that goes on in my day... shopping, errands and lots more. But those are the standard basics.

I see you are most certainly a woman of many talents :)

Thanks for sharing.

Good Morning Lynne,
Yep! I remember those day! lol My Baby is now turning 28. I now have lots of time on my hands and I'm so thankful I found WA!
I, also like you in your beginnings here, come to WA everyday to read, study & learn but I'm not active at being more involved.
I'm normally an organized person, it's just a matter of creating a new kind of schedule.
Thank you so much for sharing, it's motivational for me.
Have a FABULOUS, on course, week! lol

Respectfully,
Johanna (aka: Grammy Jo)

Oh I look forward to catching a break but I think it will be a long time yet. My kids are only 4 and 6 years old!

I love your list, Lynne! Thank you for sharing your day with us! Alanna

You achieve an enormous amount. Thank you for your training.

It is a pleasure!

You are a happy person, Lynne, with very organized life and perfect work-life balance!

To succeed in both family and business matters, one needs discipline, and you apparently have built it to a high standard:)

LOL Anton I'm glad it appears that way but unfortunately I struggle to find balance all the time. It is the thing I struggle with the most. There is just too much to do

From your point of you, it seems like struggling, but my external feedback is as simple as that:

1. You have a loving family;
2. You have a successful onlinepreneurship.

The end result is positive! Therefore somehow you have found a way to juggle a few balls, with none of them falling down.

Oh I drop balls LOL but thank you :)

LOL...

That's quite a full schedule every day, Lynne. I know, as a mum, wife, business woman and homemaker there is a lot you have to get done each day. And if something unexpected happens, it throws your schedule off. That's how we practise multi-tasking.
