What's in a name?
So, if you start with siterubix "movingmadeeasy." then buy a domain "easymovingwithlynnie" and then put them together, is that a good thing or a bad thing to do?
For one it doesn't allow me to add google adsense because of the dot in the middle. Plus to me, it seems like a really long address to remember and type.
Can this also be affecting the lack of traffic to the site?
I could really use some help here to get things on the right track and to start having some traffic?
Thanks and have a great day!

You definitely want to get your page to your own domain name. In the long run, you will receive much more thaffic and you will own your own brand.
Thank you and now I can't wait to get home from work and start this, but it might have to wait until Monday.
When you say you put them together, what do you mean? Are you talking about how transferring the content from your siterubix site now to your paid domain?
And what dot are you talking about that's stopping you from adding Adsense? Every url has a dot in it, no?
"EasyMovingWithLynnie" doesn't seem long at all. Just continue building out your posts and getting comments for your articles and building engagement and that's where traffic begins to build :)
Okay. What happened is movingmadeeasy.easymovingwithlynnie.com is the current address. The center dot is the problem with adsense, sorry I didn't explain it correctly.
Ah so you created a subdomain. Yeah that url is a bit redundant. If movingmadeeasy .com isn't available, I'd personally go with easymovingwithlynnie .com as opposed to combining both :)
If your siterubix site has plenty of content that you're wanting to move over, don't delete it just yet. Purchase your own domain, maybe easymovingwithlynnie .com if that's available, then just move the content in the siterubix site over to your own domain. Thank you so much. I hope I can do this tonight but with Easter tomorrow, it might have to wait until Monday, I hope not.
