It's a VERY new site with just 3 articles.

I think I read somewhere that Google doesn't see news content as duplicate. Lots of different news sites rank for the same word for word news articles.
But you could go the editorial route and write the same news content in your own words. Then you wouldn't have to worry about duplicate content.
Add background that others may not add. Talk about other movies Will Smith has been in, talk about Robin Williams as the first genie, stuff like that. It will reduce the amount of content that duplicates with other folks.
Suggest simply 'tweek' your text -- there are such things as 'synonyms' that you might want to consider ... cheerio... 😊
Articles that are not unique but factual?

Hey All,
I am still a bit confused about Google stuff.
If I understand it, I have to submit a site map on Search Console, the Google Analytics.
Th
To Start - You must open an account in Google Analytics first.
Then you open an account with Google Console.
If you have a site up and running irrespective of how little you have on it you Must submit your sites SiteMap.
After that you Must have that site verified in your Google Console.
You will be given a Code in GC and you insert that code into your Wordpress.
Hope alls clear and if not then get back to me.
Robert-A
Thanks Robert!
I did those steps just now!
I inserted the code into my website.
Do I now proceed to Search Analytics set up now?
Also I just posted an article. Do I need to do the crawl and fetch?
Thanks,
Ravi
You really should have opened an Analytics Account First because you could have used Analytics to verify your site as well if the code did not work.
For some reason some members have difficulty with the code.
Have you submitted a Sitemap yet?
If so then you can go ahead and Fetch NOT Fetch and Render
Then you can request indexing of your article.
Hi Robert,
A question, what is the difference between fetch and fetch and render. I was lead to believe to use the fetch and render.
Thx in advance
Janet
Hi Janet
The Fetch as Google tool enables you to test how Google crawls a URL on your site.
Fetch and Render: Fetches a specific URL in your site, displays the HTTP response and also renders the page according to a specified platform as in a desktop or mobile device such as a smart phone.
This article explains it in detail

Hi All,
Was wondering if anyone can say when to use categories on a website?
Say I am into a gardening niche, then would categories be each vegetable? </
Thanks all for this answer!
Makes sense what you all are saying!
I would keep below ten for sure!
Ravi
Hi my friend you should add categories to help your visitors navigate your site. Just think of the main groups your content comes under and assign each post to a category. If you need more help just let me know. Good luck,
tom
I think having a category for each vegetable would end up with too many categories. For the gardening niche I would use Flowers, Shrubs, Vegetables, Tools, Soils etc. Try to stay under around 10 categories if possible.
Hey.
Use them ASAP. You can always change them when necessary.
How you categorize your site is up to you. Just see it through the eyes of your visitors.
How can you help them to navigate your site easily?

Hey All,
Was wondering when to install Google Search Console and other Google tools?
Is it when I have designed my website with a full menu etc? Or when
sooner the better. Get the code there first, then 'fetch as Google' the main site, index site. Then as you create pages/blog posts, take those links, share them on the social networks and go to the search console and 'fetch as google' so the bots pick up on them.
Thanks Scott!!...I would go through the training on that.
So each post or page must go through fetch as google?
