Glad to Be Back Again
I joined Wealthy Affiliate in January 2018. It took me over 6 months to go premium. Not that I didn't see the value, I just was waiting till I had the money to join, without charging another monthly expense to my credit card. I ended up going premium during the black Friday sale in October. It was well worth it to lock in the price.
I worked diligently on creating a couple of new websites, but I only made it through Level 1 of the training for the online entrepreneur certification and the affiliate boot camp. I was unemployed at the time, and needed to focus on finding a regular job, just to bring in some funds. So, I stepped away to focus on interviews for a bit, somehow life happened, and I must confess, I stepped away for a couple of years.
Luckily, I didn't want my content to disappear, so I, at least, decided to let the annual renewal fees hit my credit card, in order to stay a member and keep all my hard work thus far.
Now, in April 2021, I am just getting back to Wealthy Affiliate after stepping away for a couple of years. I still kept the membership, just was focusing on other areas of life, so I wasn't logging in and doing the work. I am in between jobs again, but, also, currently back in school studying to be a naturopath (holistic doctor). Despite, being very busy studying, I knew I had to just log in and get started, no matter what.
So, that's what I did. I saw an opportunity to use Weatlhy Affiliate to start my holistic business related to school, and, potentially, grow clientele, and sell supplements in the future. I quickly redid the first level of training to refresh my memory and made a commitment to work on some of the training every day, no matter what.
Now, that I am back, it's full steam ahead. This is where I know I belong. I am currently working hard to add as much content as I can and get myself indexed. I decided to take on a lofty goal, be more efficient with my time, and start building 2 new websites at once. This, is really an effort to make up for lost time. It works out well, creating both websites at once, as the content of the lessons is fresh in my mind.
The 2 niches I am currently working on are essential oils and success advice & resources. I am particularly pleased with the fact that I have made my way through 2 levels of the online entrepreneur certification in just the 2 weeks since I have returned. I, also, have published 5 posts consisting of keyword rich content for each of my websites.
My goals for the next 3 months pertaining to wealthy affiliate are to finish level 3, 4, and 5 of the online entrepreneur certification, and keep building out my website, as instructed. On a personal level I will probably be looking for another job, as I will need traditional proof of income, as I am looking to move soon and my lease is almost up.
Within the next 6 months, I hope to have some of my content indexed in Google and earn my 1st commission. I know this is a great system, and I am looking forward to seeing the rewards of the consistent effort I am now putting in.

I also signed up on Black Friday 2018 and stepped away for a couple of years and now I am back. I also started a couple of sites and have already been indexed on Google. My aim is at least one 1000 post per week.
Oh, that is fantastic to hear someone with a similar story, who has already been indexed. Once I make it through the training, I will probably slow down a bit with writing, but still have a consistent goal of an article per week, as well. I wish you continued success.
