Keeping your focus forward

There's one thing I love about this image...

It's not the fact that this mountain goat is about to make a massive leap, that if done wrong, would change the rest of his life...

It's not the fact that he had enough faith to make the leap...

What I love about this image is...

His eyes are focused on one thing only - his final destination.

He's not looking down, wondering if he's going to fall and die.

He's not looking behind him, regretting the decision he made, wondering what would happen if he took a different route.

His focus is on one thing only - the other side.

Often times in life, we finally get the courage to make a big leap (whatever that may be).

Then hours, days, weeks, or even months later, find ourselves looking down...

Looking behind...

Or even looking beside....

Second guessing our decision and wanting to retreat back to the point of our departure.

If you have decided to make a leap in life, here's a reminder to keep your head forward and your focus ahead - despite whatever difficulties you may be dealing with at present.

It will definitely be worth it in the end 🌻 💕

A great metaphor for one of the key habits that can lead to success, Louise.

Thank you so much, Richard :)

Love it Louise! We all face obstacles in whatever we do in life, but keeping our focus on where we want to be and never giving up no matter what, will enable us to reach our destinations.

Have a great day my friend!:-)

You too, Jessie! Thank you

Much appreciated Louise!:-)

Love this blog Louise, very inspiring and inciteful :)

Thank you Joe, glad you liked it!

Great post, and great message here Louise! :)

Thank you, Kyle, I get motivated by motivating others, so I like to share the odd shove of momentum if possible :)

Great message! I find myself looking around and comparing to my past. Trying to avoid pitfalls, excuses in case I fail. There is nothing more liberating than success, even if it is only a milestone.

Thank you for reminding me to pay attention to what’s in front of me.

It's all too easy to get distracted by "How things used to be". Many people spent most of 2020 doing exactly that. I'm glad it resonated with you!
