My wife (Suzanne) and I (Serge), have been married for 41 beautiful years. We both grew up in Chicoutimi, Quebec, Canada. It's a charming typical French Canadian community, located approx 150 miles North of Quebec City.
We met in high school. After high school, I joined the military and we got married 2 years later. Our first posting was North Bay, Ontario a NORAD base. Suzanne was working at a local store.

A year after our marriage I had a career change. I left the Military to join the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. We had several very interesting transfers. Our first transfer was in a small community (3,500 people), Spruce Grove, Alberta. Ten miles west of Edmonton, Alberta. Two years later an other transfer to a smaller community, Stony Plain, Alberta. Our two daughters (Chantale and Caroline) were borned in Edmonton, Alta. While in Alberta, Suzanne was working at a local bank.

At the same time we started fostering children who were mentally and physically challenged. We still have two children with severe autism who are living with us (India 23 years old and her brother Dimitry 22 years old). They are both severally challenged and none verbal. They have been with us since they were 10 and 9 years old. All together throughout the years we had over 30 foster kids going through our home and we are still in contact with some of them.

After the 4 years Alberta experience and visiting the Rockies several times, we got an other posting to the "Great White North". How! Yes, Inuvik, Northwest Territories, the land of the midnight sun (during the summer) and during the winter, it's the land of total darkness for a period of 6 full weeks without seeing the sun (very impressive but also very depressing). Inuvik is also a small community of approx. 3,000 people. We were up there for 4 years. We had the chance to travel (fly) to many very small Inuit communities. These people are very kind and generous. We also drove to Alaska, USA at 2 occasions and we made friends along the way with State Troopers and their families. Suzanne kept busy working at the local bank and selling Tupperware through the small settlement, traveling via RCMP plane or police vehicle.

We returned to civilization in June 1983 after we served our 4 years in the North. Our new transfer was Ottawa, Ontario. My new posting was going to be assigned to the protection of our Prime Minister and his immediate family. At that time we were also protecting the Governor General and his immediate family. This was all new and very different. I served on that detail for more than 15 years. Having the opportunity to be close to several of our Prime Ministers (The right honorables Pierre Elliot Trudeau, John Turner, Brian Mulroney, Kim Campbell, Jean Chrétien, Paul Martin). Suzanne started working for Century21, as a Real Estate agent and she was doing very well as the Ottawa area was growing rapidly.

My first year on that detail, I had the opportunity to meet our present Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, who was approx. 12 years old at the time.

In 1989, I was tired of the big city and voluntered for a 6 months tour of duty with the United Nation. Three thousands applied, however only one hundred were needed. I was selected and I left on October 17, 1989 for Namibia, South Africa. I returned in March, 1990.

From that moment on, I was assigned to the Prime Minister Protection Details were I retired in June of 2003.

Yeah, I have been retired for 12 years already. Time flies when you are having fun.

Anyway, Suzanne and I have been looking at that Internet Money Machine and we believe that we are still young enough to learn a few more tricks and enjoy life at the same time.

So, let's have some fun and let start learning the new ways.

WE'LL NEED SOME HELP! And please be patient with us. LOL.

Suzanne and Serge.

Money Goals
Being retired we are on a fix income. It would be nice to get an other $3,000.00 extra a month so we could work on our bucket list and travel a little bit more before age catch up to us.

We both have the TIME. So 20 plus hours a week to start and see how this will take us in a couple of months.
Money I would be happy earning
Money I would be ecstatic earning
Time I'm willing to invest to achieve my goals

Great to see that you've added some goals Serge!

Working towards achieving these goals will happen as you take action on the lesson tasks here at WA. Ask questions when you have them, and take your time. This is not a race, and your time investment will have you up and running before you know it!

You're going to do just great!
