I am new to affiliate marketing and don't know much about affiliate network. I directly join the affiliate program of the interested website without using affiliate network like cl

Llimbus, I don't think that it's a matter of which is better. It has to do with what product or product you want to affiliate. Some of the products you will want to promote will go through the actual website. Others use a network. Cindy

Some company, they don't want to have their own Affiliate Manager, so they outsource that to the affiliate network. If you want to promote products for these companies, you have no choice.
It is nothing to do with you make more money or not.

Llimbus, the benefit of using an affiliate network is that all the products are in one place. This will help you manage your campaigns. It's just a matter of what you are more comfortable with.

Llimbus, You can use affiliate programs that are set up by individual websites to promote there products. I agree with Emerald: there are several affiliate network which you can join. See Course 3, Lesson 2 for Kyle's recommendations. Cindy

it is obvious that affiliate program set up by individual website will pay me more commission. So, what is the benefit of using affiliate network.. I am a little bit confused..

I found that some of the Clickbank products are not very good. You can join Linkshare, Commission Junction and Amazon.
Depends on what you want to promote.

thanks.. I will look at those options too..

In my opinion, It would depend directly on the commission rate. I'd take the one with the higher commission rate. There are many affiliate programs--Clickbank is one of the many and tends to focus more on digital products.

thanks.. for the info..

hello.. guys.. I just wrote an article "affiliate-marketing-pros-and-cons" on my new site..

HI there, great looking site, nothing to worry, it's ll good. The title though, I notice, is 'Work Home' unless you left the 'at' out on purpose.

thanks for the feedback.. about the title, I thought it would be enough for reader to know what they can expect there..

Here's a good free online tool that you can use to check any of your posts before you publish them on your site:

My niche is beginner's guide to Affiliate marketing. So, there are so many affiliate programs for this niche which are equally good. Currently, I am promoting WA, Hostgator and Nam

I think it is fine. I use each post to be informative and then have a cal to action.

thanks.. I will note it down too..

I would keep it simple or at least only do what you can actively promote, when you have traffic then you can move on to something else and just keep updating the first one.

Thanks Alan.. I will keep that in mind..

No problem glad to help if I can!

Another factor to consider is that if you sign up for too many and let them become inactive vendors can remove you for lack of activity. That's why it's best to only sign up for what you know you can promote.

Best Regards,
Jim

Thanks Jim.. I will check for it before signing up..

Take into consideration how each affiliate program pays out. Many have minimum sales amounts you have to meet to get paid. If you do not concentrate on making enough sales to get paid from each affiliate, in addition to what Bis says.

thanks Tria for the info..

You can promote as many as you like - but if your site is just a series of links then you won't be offering value for your visitors. I personally would 'review' and offer a variety rather than just promote :) Beverley

Thanks Beverley..

If you flood your site with multiple affiliate links, even if they are masked, they will put your audience off and disengage them. I'd stick with only a couple and if you want to promote more then be sure to set up separate sites for that specific targeted audience.

You need to put time into your campaigns so don't feel like the more you promote the more money you'll make.

Just stick to a couple and focus on advertising that until you have a good audience. be sure to update posts to keep them interested. then move on to create another site.

step by step. don't rush into everything. stick with the three.

good luck

Thanks Grace.. that was very helpful..
