Take care of your greatest asset!

I'm new here, and still going through my first part of training. Feeling a bit overwhelmed but loving it! Slowly, slowly I feel I'm making some progress, and learning lots every day!

Now I'm a yoga teacher and wellness instructor, and when I see all of you working so hard here, I can imagine all of you sitting hours on end by your pc's and laptops and mobiles, I feel I need to say this: look after your greatest asset, and that is YOU! Yes, you yourself.

I don't mean work less. No, I mean take just a few minutes every once in a while between your work to be nice to yourself. Make a lovely cup of tea, have a hot shower, go for a short walk, dance to some funny music,open the window and breath deeply a few times. If nothing else, roll your shoulders around a few times, stretch your neck and walk around your chair a few times. Really that pays off. You get more blood circulating to your brain, you get more oxygen, and that means you get fresh ideas, feel better, don't get that awful tension headache and overall feel better. You will also sleep better!

It doesn't take a lot. Just a few minutes during the day a few times. Little exercise, stretching, good food, cup of tea, breathing deeply. Investing just a little bit of time to your own health and wellness every day does pay off. You are your greatest asset. Don't ever forget that and look after yourself well :)
