Proof that my content is great, and that it is just Google who thinks it isn't! Big brands reaching
Hi all,
The other day I wrote this blog, where I explained that Google hit my site, but other sources are still doing great, like Pinterest, Youtube and Bing:
Today, I got yet another proof that my actual content is great, so Google does not have a reason at all to punish me for an 'unhelpful content update".
Before, another big brand called Robotime/Rolife reached out to me for cooperation and they regularly send me free products to review, which I sometimes donate to family in exchange for their personal review and some pictures/videos. (it would be impossible for me to assemble and review all of them, but anyway, that's another story lol)
The "second" big brand of DIY dollhouse kits on the market, called Cutebee, (well, I think they are doing equally on the market regarding profits), just reached out to me today to also work with them!
To be clear, I never reached out to them myself, they really contact ME!
So what I am saying to all the SEO gurus out there on Twitter or anywhere else claiming that I probably am not producing helpful content and that ' niche websites should take a closer look to what they are doing and being honest to themselves ', well sorry, but being a bit straightforward here, because I'm kind of mad, here's a big finger to those people hahaha!
How much more proof do you need when the big brands reach out to your site?
My advise (and I know this goes against the general idea here about blogging), is to find out which place (social media channels/forums/search engines..), work best for you and keep doing that, instead of only focussing on SEO, those days are over (at the moment, we will see in the future)
(nevermind the look of the email and language used, it is definitely not spam, the (mis)communication from the Chinese brands isn't all that in English hahaha! But this is really legit)

Well, the young generations don't use Google anymore to make researches! They go on Tiktok, Youtube and Instagram!
The tip to understand very well where your target customers spend most of their time is extremely correct! It is true that today, with AI you can produce content creations faster, but I think it is better to focus on the platforms most used by our target!

Google is forcing online marketers to build their domain authority from other sources like social channels and video before they can be taken seriously by their search engine.
I don’t think it will benefit Google in the long run.

This latest core update will indeed not benefit them at all, but they have so many products that they will never go bankrupt. They just dont care about small creators and the hard work they put into their websites.

Google is in a war of survival and seems to be overwhelmed. They are throwing the baby out with the bathwater most of the time.
