I've begun setting up a new site and noticed that the WP Product Review Lite plugin is no longer around. Does anyone have recommendations on a replacement for it?
That one, while it still works on my older site, is no longer available. This is unfortunate as was very easy and intuitive.
Hi
I would go for Schema – All In One Schema Rich Snippets
https://kinsta.com/blog/best-wordpress-review-plugins/
I'm checking it out. Does this create a schema enabled block like WP Product Review? It is a bit confusing so far
It does appear to have a limited ability for a bare bones front-end block it automatically adds. I'll have to play around with it. As long as it gets the schema correct and Google can see it properly, I can probably design a template for in article use in Generate Press's elements.

We don't use a product review plugin, but you may find the following link helpful: dessign.net/free-wordpress-review-plugins/

This may be a question for the more technically minded out there. I want to customize a block that I can add to posts that will display the title, short description, image, and
So ACF definitely sounds like it will work (for this and a lot more) but will be a steep learning curve as I'm pretty much at a novice level when it comes to any of the coding aspects. If anyone out there can point me towards some good beginners level educational resources for ACF I'd very much appreciate it! So far I'm finding a bunch of "beginners guides" that basically only describe why I'd want to use ACF rather than how a novice like me can actually use it!
have you tried one of the pagebuilders ...i know elementor can handle dynamic content
or advanced custom fields plugin may work with hte block editor...
there must be a simple way fo doing it ...i hope you find it

I currently use Elementor however anything dynamic done within the builder can only be accessed by their Pro users. I was hoping someone had a line of a method or a plugin who's freemium version would have the basics to build a block out. So far I've found either pay out money for a lot of bells and whistles I don't need just to get the basics or trying to figure out complicated (at least for me) coding

For anyone that is reading this thread, I did "fix" the missing "aggregaterating" error. That field is only populated when visitors leave their own ratings in the comments, not from your actual review itself. If you have visitors that quickly leave ratings in the comments then the issue will fix itself as those ratings are left.
If you're a new site without a lot of visitors, you can "fix" the error by leaving a comment yourself. You can just put a comment style blurb about why you gave that rating and leave the same rating scores you put in the main review then, presto, the "error" goes away!
Hi, I found this
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/missing-field-url-availability-and-pricevaliduntil/
And within https://yoast.com/rich-snippets-product-listings/
Thanks, but I don't seen anything in either of those links that seem to apply here. I'm using AIO at the moment and have schema enabled there and I currently don't have any errors popping up on Woocommerce pages, just specific review posts using the WPPRL plugin.
The plugin gives a schema dropdown in the post editor but nothing I place in the "url" field seems to work and I cannot find any way to input anything for the "priceValidUntil" and "availability" fields or how to opt out of those as they really do not apply.
This is really good basic info though, so thanks!

Hi - I would say after the content. If you place it before, then you have already told visitors of your findings, and they may not bother to read your entire text.
I'd say after, won't be in the way and give your readership a chance to read what value you are trying provide. That's totally my opinion.
I was thinking on similar lines. I wanted to have a cta asking for comments and thanking the reader at the very end but as the review box will only go after all content it felt awkward. I was thinking a call to action box for the product at the end and before the cta for comments with the review at the top, but I don't think I'm feeling that format as well. I may just need drop the comment cta on review posts until I can afford the premium version.
You could always add a CTA in between paragraphs, images and at the top if you were perhaps writing product specifications. Then it won't be awkward. If you remember Kyles training how he did when writing a review post.
Here's what I ended up with for the moment. Please note I'm only posting this link for the purposes of this question, no spam is intended.

I crafted the main post itself in Elementor (I'm trying to get rid of some plugins so if the Elementor experiment works out I can retrofit some past posts and hopefully rid myself of some bloat). I put a call to action box after my blurb about the components of the kit and before the pricing tabbed content box. The WP Product Review box shows at the end of the content. I dropped the cta with the "thanks for reading / leave comments" since it didn't make sense to see that before the review box.
I'm open to any and all constructive opinions!
Excuse me for delay replying back on this thread. The post looking awesome. Elementor really did a great job, I use the free version myself.
Am just wondering if the review can be listed horizontal vs vertical -- currently working on a Divi Extra template and they've set it up horizontally, however yours is till looking neat.
Your link is fine as you are requesting opinions.
Kindly let me know if your Elementor passes the experiment as I am considering purchasing the full licence. Thanks.
