It all starts in Course 3 : ) I'm sort of stuck on the first or 2nd lesson there - with all the affiliate links, then I think the google analytics is coming after that.

Hi Litsa.

I'm not aware of any training on Google Analytics specifically (ie. how to setup goals, etc and how to interpret the screens within it) - but Google's pretty good at showing you how to do all of that from its own help pages within analytics.

I assume you have added your google analytics code to your site? (either through the html code google gives you, or by adding the code to All in One SEO)?

Yes, keep going through all of the training - it is all relevant - and although you may feel you know a lot, there are snippets in every bit of training here that will help you that little further towards your goals.

When should you start looking at analytics? As long as you have it installed, don't look at it until you've posted lots of articles/pages. What will happen is you may see little/no visitors for a long time, until google recognises your site is adding good value/content - the more content you have, the more regular you post, the more likely you are to get ranked (remember keywords and low hanging fruit).

Looking at it almost straight away could demoralise you, and you don't want to think you're failing, when you just may not have given it enough time.

I would say the same for adding links to products. Don't concentrate on that so much at the start (you can add them of course, but you need to build up traffic so you can get people to your site to click on them) - concentrate on adding content.
