In for a penny in for a pound
I joined WA yesterday evening. I fiddled around for a few hours (till 2am to be exact). When I woke this morning I was geared up, excited and raring to get stuck in. I also was filled with horror when I realised that late last night in my haste I forgot a few steps along the way. Whether it was due to my enthusiasm or tiredness I do not know. But this morning, after the school run (poor children I couldn't wait to get them into school!) I upgraded to Premium membership. So sorry folks, it looks like I am here to stay because success is just round the corner.

G'day, Lisa - you're not backward in coming forward! You've had a bit of experience, so this will be the ideal place to hone your skills! No techy stuff - I'll leave that to the experts - but happy to help in any other way. :) george
Lisa…awesome. Keep that excitement and enthusiasm. Discouragement will creep in once in a while, but remember your end goal and persevere. Financial success won't happen overnight but you have support from the community (WA) to help you keep your focus. When I joined, one of the first things I wanted to do was visit member websites for ideas. You can do that by clicking on their icon (picture) to access their profile page. Once there, you have a list of their websites to look at. Our best to you.
Having a peek at other members sites is a good idea Michael2013, thanks for that. I have been working online for the last couple of years. Reasonably successful considering the lack of knowledge I had. I still have one mainly information site running (which needs some work) and I did have one 'niche' site that did rather well but it dealt mainly with physical products - some stock held by me and some by other physical sellers but I had to manually order each and every order which was a total pain in the butt. I am willing to put in the man hours and willing to wait for the results. I know they do come and I will personally post a video link on my blog of me doing the 'happy dance' as and when my first sale goes through, lol.
My 14 year old son asked me last night 'what would you class as a small fortune', my answer was enough to change your life but not enough to say you were rich. I gave him a ball park figure of £200k, to pay off mortgage with some left for rainy days and holidays.
My question to everyone is:
1 "What would you class as a small fortune?" I know it depends on what you have already as £20 would be a small fortune to someone without!
2 If, with your new skills learnt at WA, in the next couple of years you had enough money (£1m or £2m in the bank) what would you want to do?
Welcome to WA.
I know what it's like to try and rush off the little ones so I can get started with work. I have one more year and they'll all be in school. Then I'll have more productive days. As of now, I just get up really early so I can have some quiet time to work until it's time to get the kids up and out the door.
Good luck on your journey. Sounds like you're of the right mind...success IS just around the corner.
Patty :)
Cute story. Welcome to WA. I have been here 7 weeks and it has been great. Continue with the training you should have a successful business. I wish you the best. Debbie
LOL, I do that, often, forget the "real world" tasks. Hey, Lisa, welcome to WA and to Premium. Here's wishing you every success! :) Rich.

Thank you for adding me to your network. Yes -- it is very easy to be up all hours of the night. Missing steps -- well, you go thru the trainings and it looks so simple and clear then couple of hours or days later when you try, whoops. So just go back and re-visit and once you've actually done things it all glues together -- as you probably already know since you've done sites before. WA helps connect the dots and bridges what we might not have quite figured out before. Doing products where you have to order manually, that can be okay if the profit is enough -- I'd manually order in something I made $500 a sale for but it's those $5 and $10 sales that can get tedious -- by the time you add up your time you've made less than flipping a burger (not that there is anything wrong with that). Best of luck and hope to hear more about you as time goes on!
That is exactly it IslandMike. I never made huge profits from my manual products, and way too time consuming for little return. But on the otherhand when my other half was out of work it helped keep our heads above water. I know Internet marketing works and I am so glad that I am now part of WA so I can learn the correct way.
