Hi, my name is Patty and I'm a half-korean, half- american, stay at home mom of 3 young kids aged 9, 7 and 3. (Emo in my username means "Aunt" in korea NOT a punk all decked out in black and too much eye make-up emo), Although I am a native of California, I am currently raising my family in Iowa.

In the past few years I have been trying to find a job that will allow me to work from home (my youngest suffers from febrile seizures so finding a day care provider is near impossible). I'm anxious to start supplementing our income so we can do more WITH and FOR our kids. I used to work freelance in music video and film production. I have not worked outside of the home for over 10 years so I feel "rusty" about trying to find work and feel my time and efforts would be best served on a home based business that can generate revenue for me and my family.

I just wanted to drop by really fast and let you know I’m here to help you if you need anything. I recommend starting with the Online Entrepreneur Training which can be found at https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/online-entrepreneur-certification-getting-started-level-1

I don’t recommend programs lightly, and I hope you find Wealthy Affiliate as useful as I hoped when I recommended it to you. I don’t think you’ll find another program that sets you up better for success. I pay for a premium membership as well not because I need it, but because I believe Kyle and Carson have put together a product that deserves to be supported and $47 for the value they’re adding to new affiliate marketers is something I proudly support.

Let me know if you need anything along the way!

Thank you so much for the honest review of WA, I never would have found this business opportunity without you. I am a little overwhelmed but I am doing my best to read through the training and getting started. Thanks again for your review, it may have changed my life :). I'll keep you posted...

No problem at all! I'm very happy that I could help and I hope this program changes your life too. There's a lot to learn in the beginning (if you're a member of a legitimate program like WA), but if you anchor down and take the time to do it, you should make progress very quickly - probably even quicker than you may think!

Let me know if you need anything! And yes - please keep me posted!

This site is awesome and I am extremely grateful to Ian Pribyl for the amazing review and helping me find my way here.

I'm hesitant to start paying for the premium membership because I am a stay-at-home mom and my husband is in the insurance industry, our income will be going down even further due to our president and his ObamaCare plan and we live paycheck to paycheck as it stands now, with no further expenses. However, I can GET the money if needed.

I have completed the first training course and will eventually continue with the other courses... I have my website set up and I'm ready to start making some extra money.

My questions are:
When you talk about marketing and sending traffic to "my website" are you talking about my website that I set up in the first training program? I don't understand how I would be able to send WA traffic to this site when its about being a mom and nutrition?
Is this where having several sites comes in handy?
Should I really have a more NEUTRAL/GENERIC website? Like product reviews? This is probably a better niche since it has so much room for many different topics? Or do you have a suggestion for a niche that stay at home moms have had success with? If I'm looking at writing at least one article a day than I will need variety. I plan on writing AT LEAST that many, like I said I am ready to make some money and I am NOT afraid of hard work.

Also, how in the world do I get affiliate website links to add to my website? How would I do that with my moms for nutrition website?

Are all these questions answered in further training courses? Should I just take the plunge and give it a whirl? Like I said, $50 is a lot so I'm just trying to make sure I exhaust all my free resources before I have to shell out this money (Hubby is VERY hesitant to have to pay any money, we have both heard of tons of scam stories for work at home positions).

I'm trying to make sense of all of this.

I thank you for your time, efforts and AMAZING site.

It is great to have you here and I am glad you found your way here. You only need one site in one niche to create success online and one of the biggest problems I see is when people try to create a bunch of mini-sites...this just ends up in mediocrity.

When starting out your goal should be to create ONE successful site before you try to create several. You can generate a full time income from just one site.

Upgrade when you are ready. The traffic you will be getting will be to your free site and Level 2 (premium) will discuss traffic (several) generation techniques that are completely free.

Here is a tutorial that I created that might answer many of the questions about Traffic/Revenue online pertaining to your site:

Don't stretch yourself thin by upgrading, but do know that you get a ton of awesome training (certification, live weekly training) and unlimited access to all of our tools and services here when you upgrade.

Again, great to have you here at WA!
Kyle is right. I am one of those who created several sites and it just makes a mess.

These days I am working back and forth on two of them. The others are just 'there." One is a camera site and the other is my WA site.

A third I'm now considering to be a portfolio site for local business will be my branded site. I think this is what Jay has been hinting on.
