Remembering why

Since starting WA I have logged on every day to do training and work on my website. I have been so proud of myself. The last two days though, I have been slacking. Last night when I went to bed, I was being really hard on myself for it. Then I heard a voice in my head asking "Why? Why are you getting down on yourself? Why did you start with WA in the first place? Why do you want to continue?"

Well, let me answer those questions. I was getting down on myself because I had had a rough couple of days. My emotions were all over the place. I had lost a very dear friend suddenly two days prior. The same day, they also admitted a family member into the hospital in unstable condition. Am I telling you this for sympathy? Absolutely not. I am telling you this because it leads into the next question.

I started WA originally because I wanted a place to express myself. After getting into the training, I realized that I really liked it and there was income potential. This is the reason I upgraded to premium. I realized I could do this and not have to answer to anyone but myself. Like most, I expect a lot more out of myself than others. Hence, me working 7 days a week on training and the website. But, I also wanted the freedom to be there for friends and family if they needed me.

Do I want to continue? ABSOLUTELY! I have not felt this alive since I started this journey. I have met some wonderful people and have learned so much in just a few weeks. I am still trying to find a schedule that works for me, but I am really enjoying myself.

If you are having a rough day, just remember your why! It will put everything into perspective and be right with the world again.

Life happens to all of us. Although it may slow us down, or knock us off track, it's those that get back on track and keep moving that succeed.

You're great to remember why you joined WA. I'm sure there'll be bumps in the road, but as long as you keep going, you'll get there.

I'm sorry to hear of your struggles. Remember to keep expressing yourself as a form of therapy, and remember to keep on keeping on.

I hope things turn around for you soon, and hope your next post will be full of good news!

Thank you. I just realized how negative my post could be conceived, but that was not my intention. I was trying to be encouraging and motivating to myself and others.

Oh yes, "Remembering why" is encouraging and motivating, and I do not see it as negative.

Your enthusiasm shines through the rough patches, don't change a thing.

Well said, Lindsay. Hope life has stabilized for you and you're back on even keel. Way to see your way through the fog (challenges) and stay the course. Maintaining your focus through it all is something to be proud of. Well done! Hank

Thank you. Life is getting back to normal.

that's great!
go go go!

Thank you

So glad you're progressing well with WA training, and you're right not to get upset with yourself over situations out of your control. Losing a friend is extremely upsetting and you need space to grieve. I hope your family member is ok now and getting better. Be kind to yourself and know that you will succeed and achieve your goals. Best wishes, Kathy

Thank you, Kathy. I realize now I needed to time away, and it was very much deserved. I am working on not being so hard on myself when the situation is out of my control. The family member is doing much better and will probably go home in a few days.
