Happy New Year, Happy New Decade!
Does a new year fill you with joy and anticipation, or find you somewhat deflated? Often times we might approach the end of one year and be filled with hopes and aspirations for the new year on the horizon, though when that new year eventually arrives, we find ourselves deflated, demotivated and consequently demoralised. Now we have to make those changes that we've been promising ourselves, only to find that we can't muster up the enthusiasm or 'willpower'!
In order to bring about the improvements we seek in our lives we don't always need to make massive changes. It is more often when we change the 'smaller' habits, on a regular basis, that we eventually are led to the bigger changes we seek.

If there is one piece of advice I can share with you, it is to ask you to learn about the 'compound effect' if you aren't already familiar with it. When I first came across this, it blew my mind in its profound simplicity yet powerful effect! The compound effect carries on working in our lives (for better or for worse) whether you are aware of it or not! It helps explain where you are now, and how to change your direction if you wish.
