My 4 Months with Wealthy Affiliate
I've just realized it has been four months since I joined Wealthy Affiliate. I look at it as a long-term journey so I don't mind I don't have any "successful" figures with you to share at the moment. But I feel successful in the sense that I've been learning new things every day and working on my mind. Here is what I have at the moment, regarding websites:
Website 1 from 2015: This website just shows how google rewards websites in time. I
haven't been posting there on a regular basis and there are only about 50 articles there. Nothing special. But GA shows consistent traffic. Small, but consistent. People can find me when they are looking for English Skype lessons.
Website 2 from September 2019: My first website hosted here. I promote Wealthy Affiliate there and have a few reviews of some other programs there. However, this niche is not my passion and I find it hard to post there regularly. I have about 15 articles there.
Website 3 from January 2020: This is the website I've been most passionate about. I can see myself posting one hundred articles there within one year and I believe it will bring results. I feel I can inspire, lead by example.
None of the websites brings me regular income i.e. commissions. But the third one is intended to! I don't want to add affiliate links i.e. apply for affiliate programs until I have steady traffic there which means a few months of consistent work. I have 5 articles there since the beginning of January. Many more to come.
What I see as my biggest success is the amount of things I have learned here in the four months. I know a lot about SEO now (still a lot to learn though) that I could help a friend with their website settings.
I feel
patience is the key. Patience when you work towards your vision.
If you have a vision and make small steps towards it, you can't get anywhere else than to it. It's only a matter of time.
If you learn something every day, no matter how small, you can't end up with anything else than a lot of knowledge.
Vision. Perseverance. Patience.

Vesna, that is so nice, I really appreciate that! I also had a feeling that passion was necessary, I am able to work hard even without it but it is not fun and I don't feel happy. You are right that it is part of every success.

Diana, that is so true! I was wondering why was it so hard for me to write before even if I knew I should and I'm not a lazy person. Now I feel excited and happy and I can see the end result in future.

Very well written! You have accurately described, in addition to patience, another important key to success in this online environment - persistence.
I compare my website to the process of creating art...in fact, it is a process - not something that you put together then sit back and think you're done.
One should expect to change their theme, format even content - attributes that change and evolve as we change and evolve. But more importantly, to not be surprised if what we are happy with 6 mos, 1 year, 5 years later is something completely different from what we started with.

Susan, thank you for your thoughts and insights! Yes, we evolve in time and should keep that in mind. I like changes but I have a problem to change content what I've once written. That's a real challenge for me!
