If You Must Transfer Your Site from WA .
I just want to pass along this valuable information for anyone who finds themselves with the need to transfer their site from Wealthy Affiliates to another host. Wealthy Affiliate is a wonderful, amazing host and I am not recommending that anyone transfer their site away from all the valuable resources offered here. This is such a great, supportive community and you probably won't find as much information anywhere else to help you succeed and prosper online.
But, sometimes life throws a curve ball, and it becomes necessary to make a site transfer. It is very difficult to find instructions on how to move a site from WA. Luckily, I found help here: https://letskillthenoise.com/how-to-migrate-wordpr...
If you are completely new at all this, like me, the process is scary. But it's also easy and you won't have to do it alone. If you have any questions or concerns at all, the site's owner, Alessio, will respond to you very quickly and hold your hand every step of the way and beyond. In a short time, my site was transferred and the new host has excellent customer service. I wish I could have stayed with WA but circumstances did not permit it. I am very happy with my transfer, though, and very grateful to have found the assistance at Let's Kill the Noise.

Yes you can. But WA provides much more overall as far as training, tools, domains, active helpful community etc.
That’s true. I transferred my domain out and realized I had made a terrible mistake so I moved it back.

Sounds great. I didn't know about this entity. For us we are concentrating all of our hosting to HostGator and the Go Daddy. HostGator because we can put a thousand sites there and GoDaddy because some of our primary non WordPress sites are there. WA is fine if you have a simple website and don't need a lot of support.
Do you know any reliable web host for podcasting? Or any good resource how to find one? This is ridiculous! 2 days and just let me hang here...No result, no message. 5 months work on ITunes, I upload episodes 5 days a week. Got more than 10.000 connection there. My main traffic. Can't upload at all. I went from 130-200 downloads a day down to 30. And keep going down...
Not very happy or impressed.... :(
Are you saying that you can put multiple websites on hostgator for the same price? How many? And how much is it?
Thanks!
So who did you go with for hosting? Just curious cause I've been writing reviews on hosting companies.
I use SiteGround, based on the recommendations of Alessio. They have a really quick, always "on" customer service. The site migration was free! Hosting is the usual cost and a domain transfer is $14.95.
Thank you so much for this! I'm very happy with WA and technical support team as well, except with my podcast on ITunes. Every time I update something on my website, it cuts me off because some extra code in my feed. Then takes ages to fix it! Nobody's really doing podcast here, and even WA support team seams like having difficulties with it. It's a bloody nightmare! I have to figure out some permanent solution for this, because I don't want to go through this every time I update something on my site... :(
They really need to fix that. It's not like podcasting is some new thing. But, I'm sure they will fix it! They're usually on the ball!
Man! I really don't know what to say.. It's the second time and i lost trust. And it's never been fixed i a few hours. Last time took me 1.5 weeks! Just to go through all the tests and convince them of that the extra code in my feed is from WA hosting service through WP. Now it's 2 days and not fixed yet. I really don't know what to do .. I don't want to change WA host, I need their support but I can't trust for podcast. As a beginner, all my connection is coming from ITunes ! That was the point! But now...
