How to Pay for WA Premium

Money is tight for many people and hard to come by at times.

While the value of Wealthy Affiliate Premium is incredible and what it provides you with can help you build a real business that can truly change your life for the better - what are you supposed to do if you can't afford it right now?

Maybe you are having trouble paying your rent or mortgage payment, and the power bill etc.

Perhaps you struggle to meet all your obligations every month already - so the idea of paying anything else seems impossible.

Start With the Free Membership - But MAKE IT COUNT!

While you have free access to everything, take as many of the courses as you can and learn enough to take action.

Then take action!

Log in Every day and complete something - anything - just make a little more progress.

Ask questions and get help from the community here (which is one of your most powerful resources by the way!) and start building your business.

Then its time to become official - once you know you want to do this and are ready to take your business seriously, then sign up for premium.

Start with monthly - and remember you can cancel it anytime you like - so it isn't like you are taking out a $100k business loan...

Where to Get the Money

Lets start by looking at some current spending habits.

Are you buying coffee from Starbucks or any other coffee house - or even premium cold coffee from the local convenience stores?

Stop doing that for now - and make your own at home and carry it in a thermal mug. That alone will save you somewhere between $2 to $5 per day, depending on what you have been ordering. If you get more than one coffee per day then it can be double or triple that amount!

Of course making your own coffee at home (hot or ice) is still not free - but - it is a heck of a lot cheaper than that!

Lunch.

What do you eat and where do you get it? Many people go to a drive through and get lunch every day. That is very expensive and usually not very good for you either.

Try making and taking your lunch - and save a bundle while eating better too!

Hair Cuts.

I haven't been to a barber shop/hair salon in the last 7 years - and maybe longer than that. It has been so long I can't remember.

And no - my hair is not touching the ground nor do I look like cavy cave man either.

I cut my own hair. Yes really.

At first, it wasn't done to save money but rather to save time and aggravation. I had the same hair stylist for more than 20 years and every two weeks I paid her more than $20 for a haircut. I think it was about $12 or $15 for the cut and the rest was what I tipped her. For 20 years...

Then one day she told me she was getting a divorce and moving back to WV so she was saying goodbye.

Another stylist took her customers - including me. She couldn't seem to cut my sideburns even or straight - and she was always behind schedule. So even though I had an appointment I wound up sitting and waiting for 30 minutes or more for a crappy haircut. No thanks.

When I was a kid I grew up on a farm 30 miles from the nearest decent sized city - so we had clippers and scissors and we cut our own hair. And no - we didn't use a bowl...

As I considered finding a new stylist, for some reason I thought about when I was a kid and my family cutting our own hair at home - so I went online to amazon and ordered some clippers and scissors.

I haven't been to a barber since - and I have no intentions of ever going to one again either.

You can do the same if you wish - whether you do or not is totally up to you. But if you need money for WA then there it is!

Sell Some Stuff.

Chances are that you have a ton of stuff in your attic, basement, shed, cabinets, under your bed and all over your home - that you do not use.

I will bet you that someone else would like to have it - and they will pay you for it too.

Have a yard sale, get on eBay, and on craigslist- sell some junk. Declutter your life and fund your business all at the same time.

Your Business. Your Choice. Your Results.

There you have it.

There are many different ways to come up with the money you need to pay for your WA Premium membership and to get your domain name and your hosting covered.

All you need to do is find just that little bit of money - which is an investment in your business and in your future.

What is a fact is that you can find the money if you really want too. The only question is whether or not you want it bad enough to actually take your business seriously enough to do it or not?

Life is all about choices.

If you are already a WA Premium member - then Congratulations on making a wise decision!

For those still on the fence, what are you waiting for?

I love this post and you've given some really good advice.
I took the free week and then the discounted first month offer. I remember saying to myself, that if I wanted to join as a premium member, I was going to have to fund it myself and not dip into the joint account.
For the next four weeks I went on a selling spree, if it wasn't nailed down, I sold it.
By the end of the first month I had raised enough for the annual membership and signed up in full.
I have continued selling and that has paid for my second years membership as well.

I love the free trial - it's a way for people to try it all out - kick the tires - and make an informed decision.

That's how I got started here as well - and I used all the resources here to dramatically increase my course sales on Udemy. That increase alone more than pays for the fee - far more than that and I am continuously increasing it too, thanks in large part to what I am getting from WA.

That's another key thing to consider too - what can be learned here and the tools available are applicable to, and can help dramatically improve ANY business - and most especially online businesses.

Thanks for your comments.

You're very welcome and I agree, everything we learn here is transferable and the training done by other members is vast.

Great ideas indeed on where to find the money to pay for the WA Premium subscription.

After a member is on Premium for three months, they are eligible to get paid for writing training. I believe the fee is $5 per training. At one time we used to get 50 cents for giving site comments after you have a running balance of 50 comments given.

Hence it is possible to earn enough credits on WA to help pay for this fee.

Just a thought.

Great info too Edwin - and I appreciate it.

Hopefully, all of these ideas in the comments and the post together may help some people - or at least give them some ideas to use to go find solutions that work for them!

Best regards,

Good morning LD, I think this is an excellent post for overcoming objections and put simply in a way to get people to think positively.
I often use the coffee example as most people buy drinks without a second thought, but that couple of pounds/dollars a day could get them started in business for themselves.

Great content, best wishes.

It all adds up - and it also doesn't have to mean giving up things forever either. Just to reprioritize and reallocate some resources to "prime the pump" so to speak to get a business started and growing.

The point is what stops people is more often their own self-limitations which are often false.

In the end, it always comes down to the choices we make and the actions we take...

Thanks for your comments and have a great day today!

Well written! I'd love to trim my own hair but am afraid of making my afro into a zerofro...So I'll have to wait for the hair salon near me to open again.

We're just easing off lockdown in the UK and things are moving real slow - I've just come back from a trip to Primark and it was a 15 minute queue wait to get in and another 5 minutes before getting to the till....My own store?

Maybe one day!

Thanks for sharing - I'm at bare bones at the moment, but will definitely make the most of November Black Friday WA Sale...

Stella

... hey hi Stella ... your 'own store' ... sure go for it -- make a plan and take action steps on your plan to get there to Success!

... of course, you can do it! ...

keep well, stay strong .. all the best ... ⭐️😊⭐️ ...

Depending on where you are cross over to France some time we hang out for a nice chat at cite Europe au bureau.there are nice things to see .meaning you need to make money here in WA so that you will go home with something .A day trip from Dover won't get you quarantined.hehehe .keep safe(◕ᴗ◕✿)

Everything begins with a thought, then an idea (your vision for your business - and your life). When ideas become goals and from goals, plans are devised and then acted upon - then progress is made.

Stella, thanks for your comments and I know you can accomplish great things if you decide to and then take action to make it happen.

I look forward to following your progress and your success.

Best regards,

L.D. Sewell

lol at zerofro Lol :-D

My own store? ....I'm just trying to work out how to put a downloadable bonus on my optin pages!

Tech savvy remains to be seen...

Yes, let's stay safe and well...

Stella

I know, gotta keep away from them scissors...

Great post, I usually send people the following link, so I'll add yours in to the mix now as well :-)

Awesome idea! Thank you, Chrystopher. That will be very helpful for WA members.
