I am not sure. I got a postcard in the mail saying I had money coming and then when I signed in I saw the money, but it said $10.00 needed before a check could be sent. I never set anything. Yours is CA so maybe that is the difference.
Regardless if it's now or later, since you've made the $8, the other will start coming and you will get a check either way it goes! :o)

Do you have any affiliate links on your posts for products related to cooking? I saw banners for Wealthy Affiliate and others, but not product specific links.
my banners are all food related. well mostly, adsense puts the advertising up for themselves, it changes all the time. :)

I meant do you review or promote any specific products? I just wondered if it something you have already tried. I never tried AdSense. I use Amazon for links to the products I review. Anything someone buys on Amazon counts though. So if someone buys a bag of cat food from my link and a pair of shoes I get a commission for the pair of shoes too.
I have done pretty well with Amazon (considering my traffic is MUCH lower than yours). The conversion rate is pretty high and it is easy to use.
I just hoped there was a way you could make some more money and stay here at WA!
